  1. Harbor freight has boat trailers that you put together yourself that would fit that bill, or, with your boat/trailer budget, I'd try to get both as a package.
  2. My first thought was carp. Depends on the angle.
  3. Have you tried apartment finder?
  4. UT will be just fine against Va Tech. As al said above, they didn't really stretch their legs on offense (although that was a little too close for comfort). Also - App State was just outside the top 25, they're not a bad team. I think I have more excuses somewhere... GBO!
  5. REI has some great store-branded tents, I'd look at those in whatever size fits your mattress. $200 is a tough price range for a good big tent.
  6. It's ok. You get over it once you die.
  7. Tie a baseball sized rock in a t-shirt, and then to anchor rope. Drop that over with 10 ft or so of rope, depending on your depth. You now have a drift (or in shallow water-drag) anchor.
  8. Have you considered something like bed liner or one of the spray or paint on coatings for in there? Would alleviate the grit issue and would be hard to lose.
  9. Sharp bit, go slow don't push, and masking tape can help with dust/chipping and helps the bit get an initial 'grab'
  10. The lakes are very warm right now and an absolute zoo on the weekends. Get up lake when they're generating from the dams as the fish love the cooler oxygenated water. Fish really early, and fish into the night. It's tough out there right now.
  11. CATS!!! Or a honey badger...he don't give a...
  12. It sounds like you already have a heavy rod if you're fishing frogs, so I'm going to go a different direction - get a whopper plopper or a Mini MS Slammer in black or bluegill. Slow retrieve on the surface so they can do what they do. Don't. Look. Back.
  13. There's no comparison with other burger joints (5 Guys, In and Out, etc.), but when it's 3 AM and you've put both Anheiser and Busch's kids through college that night, there's nothing better than big bag of Krystal's.
  14. I was just telling my wife we hadn't seen a Clayton ( or Raider) life drama post in a while...
  15. I have a Nucanoe Frontier 12 that I can rig tandem or single, and it has incredibly comfortable seats. It paddles better than the Internet says it does, but it's not a distance boat. It also has a small flat transom for a motor. There is not a peddle drive for it that I am aware of, and it may be big on your Civic, but it was the best solution I found for a tandem boat with some flexibility. It's a great fishing platform. PS - be careful with marriage advice from Clayton.
  16. One thing to be cognizant of with J-bugs is those factory hooks aren't the greatest ( or at least didn't used to be). Change them out or sharpen them if you feel confident doing it.
  17. You're going to need one for the trailer too. There's a listing of docs/info you need on the NCDOT website. I had to do this for a trailer recently. It was pretty painless other than waiting in line.
  18. I have LDCs and Okuma GS, and a Citrix travel SB rod. The LDCs are definitely more refined, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with the GSs.
  19. Don't take this as a bad judgement against the tralers, but as many problems as you've now had with it, I'm not sure I'd buy one. And that is quite the long tongue...The CS sounds great and It does look cool though.
  20. 25# is awfully heavy for what you're asking. I'd do #20 or even #15 if you're not going over 3 ounces. CXX is tough stuff.
  21. I find I'm more efficient if I put the seat so the I'm paddling a couple feet behind the mid point of the boat, essentially putting 2/3 of the boat in front of the paddle.
  22. What kind of rod/reel are you using?
  23. Can you post a pic of what you're talking about?
  24. I have used 20 lb suffix 832 on a 3000 sized Pflueger and LDC custom MH spinning rod to throw everything from an 1/8 oz bitsy flip up to a Deps 175 and CL8 Baby Possum (3 oz ish) all in the same day. It's about as close as you can get to covering everything, but not ideal at all on either end.
  25. Did he have a ladle?
