  1. That is the reel you played with. I forgot that it was the lefty that I put the Hawgtech handle on. I actually have three Chronarchs, and other than the fact that two are righty, and one is lefty, you'd be hard pressed to tell which spent some time in the drink!
  2. We recently got three feet of snow overnight. BAU by about 10 am the next morning, lol.
  3. Just look at the lure ratings - their "M" is usually rated for 1/2 or 5/8 oz. max.
  4. I love how everything shuts down in the south. A 1/2" of ice is no excuse up here, lol.
  5. I was brand new, no US cleaning necessary. A little Dawn, and some elbow grease was all it took to make it better than new.
  6. Was only in the water a week.
  7. No, mine are Saint Croixs.
  8. I don't find this to be true at all. At least not on this site. Every single thread is generally an outlet to share what works.
  9. I like my 6-8 M/XF for most spnnerbaiting, up to 1/2 oz. baits.
  10. Loomis dumped all their pro staff a couple years ago. It doesn't surprise me that they'd sign a big name pro.
  11. Is there a question or a point in there? I don't understand the post.
  12. Remove the REAR treble on longer topwaters and jerkbaits, not the front, if you want to avoid hooking the fish outside the mouth.
  13. I just flush the bearing spools. I do a total break down and clean after the first season, unless I do something really bad to the reel, like this one:
  14. I had that lens for a few months. Only shot little league with it, and a few birds. Birding isn't as easy as just slapping fast, long glass on. You gotta be there, and have the skills too.
  15. Love that pelican in flight!
  16. LMAO....it's on the internet, so it must be true. Who cares? You shouldn't give Wallie any of your money anyway. Find a local gun shop.
  17. Biggio shouldn't even be on the ballot.
  18. Been using CXX for years now. Tried some others, no reason to change what works fine for me.
  19. Megastrike won't stain anything. I prefer to do the JJ's before I'm on the water, but if your careful, you'll be fine.
  20. If I could figure out how to make braid cutters out of zebra mussels, I'd be a millionaire!
  21. I'd listen to No Good, he knows a thing or two about drop shotting smallies on Erie....
  22. 55 acres? Not sure you need anything more than a 16' jon boat for that.
  23. No, David isn't confused. Anti corrosion bearings carry different acronyms, as part of each compny's branding and marketing, such as Shimano's "AR-B" or Daiwa's "CRBB". It just so happens that Shimano's ARB or "Anti Rust Bearings" are not shielded. Reels with "SAR-B" designations are shielded. Pure Fishing's anti rust bearings are not shieled, as you have found.
  24. Just put a 6mm plastic bead on the line before the swivel, and you'll never damage the tip top guide.
  25. You're probably just horsing them in too hard. Braid and moving baits? I know many make it work, but it's like nails on a chalkboard to me. Give me my good old CXX for that.
