  1. Great show Shane except for the dancing. ;D
  2. Great outing Shane. Looks like you guys were dressed for the cold.
  3. Try this link http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1283401104
  4. The thicker line helps keep the baits higher in the water column so it does not dive as deep. You can change depths by switching line diameter instead of changing lures.
  5. Glad you got out. Shouldn't be to long before those jerks work.
  6. Beautiful coloration on this beast, Eric. WTG
  7. Shane will look forward to watching. Thanks for the heads up.
  8. Nice bass for your first one of 2011.
  9. A-Jay the pups look great. By the way are you wearing white shoes?
  10. Nice write up & nice bass Paul. Don't you love it when your creative thinking juices hit upon the answer. Nice change of clothes too.
  11. Sweet trip. Finding a woman who likes to fish is a bonus.
  12. Paul I was talking about the fish.
  13. Very nice Lee. Great looking water as well.
  14. Nice fish & nice stache too.
  15. Hey Goose don't count yourself out. Sometimes luck runs in threes.
  16. Nice outing. Looks like a pair of twins.
  17. When I first started fishing for bass it was with a cane pole, bobber & red worms around any lily pads we could find. My first lure was a Fred Arbogast hula popper. I can remember how cool it was when my first top water bite happened. I was definitely hooked!
  18. Hit Loxahatchee again with South Fla for some frogging action. Last time out Robert put me only on dinks & those nasty mudfish. This time out Robert out did himself by catching pickerel, mudfish & a nice blue tilapia & a dozen or so bass mixed in. The 2nd highlight of the day occurred after casting a 10.5" Ol Monster worm. I had a professional overrun, picked it out & started reeling in when I felt the line tightening. I set the hook & felt an unmovable weight. Then it started swimming towards the boat & I looked into the water & saw this prehistoric form swimming under the boat with my worm in its mouth. About a 4 foot gator started peeling line off my baitcaster. Then it started coming back towards the boat before making a long & last run before the hook pulled. Really caught me by surprise. I have heard of people snagging gators before but didn't realize they would pick up a plastic worm. The first highlight of the day was a nice bass on a rage toad fishing the flats. Special thanks to Robert for a great day & a promise to put him on a big lake erie smallie if he comes up this spring.
  19. WTG Shane! That 5-6 smallie is a beast for your area considering it came out of a river & time of year.
  20. Shane all the gators seem to be waiting for somebody to either slip or get too close. That would be hard for me to concentrate on fishing.
  21. Great outing for sure. BTW Paul you don't have to get so dressed up just to go fishing.
  22. What can I say Goose but congratulations. Very impressive fish.
