WAKE UP PENNSLYVANIA!!!!
Tournaments are off limits during trophy bass season April 16th thru June 17th on PA lakes. Trophy season permits keeping one fish daily 20" long. A one fish bag limit would not be very tournament friendly anyhow. PA is basically protecting prespawn/spawn times from tournament pressure/stress. PA's trophy bass season is more liberal than other states which denying any bass fishing until after spawn. I personally have no problem with the license fees in PA considering the tremendous fishing opportunities PA offers. My out of state friends pay $68.40 for an annual license & smile the whole way home thinking about the trophy fish they have caught. It's not what you pay its what you get for what you paid.

Anyone use swivels or snaps?
I use snaps on all crank/jerk bait lures. Easier to change baits and gives them better action.

Replica Mounts
PondBoss wrote Replicas are better because they are much more durable than a skin mount & they leave that fish in the system to reproduce & maybe let some else catch them. They don't fade, they don't bleed thru oils & the fins don't break off when your wife decides it need dusting. ;D

Need some advice
If all the fish you have caught are slack bellied, carrying no weight then the pond is out of balance and you need to take all fish under 15" out. If some of the fish are fat just short in length your probably ok. Try putting out a soaker with a blue gill fin clipped under a bobber or free lined as an extra rod. Try tossing a senko wacky rigged on your 2nd rod.
