Hail to the victors!
Michigan played like their arses were on fire. And for the first recent time they were well coached. More power to them. If Michigan plays like they did against OSU they could beat anyone in the playoffs. OSU played flat & their coaching sucked. The play calling was terrible and all the stupid penalties were inexcusable. If Alabama had lost & they deserved to lose after going pointless for 3 quarters, OSU & Alabama could have finished the season playing against each other in the LOSERS BOWL.

Crankbait rod
Take a look at swim bait rods from 7-6 to 7-11 that handle 1/2 to 3 oz baits. I have a 7-6 imx pro that handles the full range of cranks. I also have a kistler helium M.O.D. Heavy moderate thats 7-11 & handles 3/8 to 3oz baits that also handles all crank baits. They both throw a lipless a country mile. Handle 10XD’s with everything in between and cover swimbaits as well. Very versatile rods.

Tackle warehouse scam
I heard that people using PayPal are getting hit as well. It’s not just TW. Looks like it might be a payment processor.

Rattle Trap questions
Maximum trolling depth for most diving crank baits is around 240-270 feet out. After 280-300 feet the long line resistance starts to bring them back up. I learned this from trolling with line counters while fishing for walleye.

Advice needed: Best St Croix rod (money no object) for lighter moving baits
The SCV 5C72MHM was built as a custom rod by Matt at Otterrods. I use it as my jerk bait rod. The MHM extreme blanks are great treble hook rods & some single hook applications as well. I use the EC70MF for swim jigs & paddle tail baits. I have tried most of the elite MF & MHF blanks over the years and have used the extreme MHM & HF blanks.

Advice needed: Best St Croix rod (money no object) for lighter moving baits
I have had several legend elites & legend extremes. I prefer the extremes over the elites because they always offered more blank choices especially for someone wanting a moderate action blank that delivered exceptional sensitivity. My favorite blank is the LXC78MHM & SCV 5C72MHM. My favorite elite blank is the EC70MHF. Like Kent suggested St Croix blanks do run about 1/2 to 1 power heavier than most other rod manufactures. Take a look at the XFC70MF extreme or EC70MF elite.

Dan Gapen
I talked to him a few times. He wrote a book on fishing the old Northwest Territories which I bought & read. He was a real story teller. He also fished with Bobber Anne a lady angler that was ahead of her time. He was a member of the International Fishing Hall of Fame as was his father. His interests varied from fishing, lure making, guiding, envirmentalist, author & and a slew of other outdoor interests. RIP Dan Gapen.

Garage Ceiling Rod Storage
The pvc multi-level racks look like they would be the quickest/easiest stow & remove. Tom's suggestion on spacing is important to consider.

Prespawn. Believe it or not some bass start bedding in late Nov, early Dec. Not the norm but it does happen with very small numbers.

Alabama
After watching Alabama's last two games are you still picking them to win it all?

You have 4 days for a guys fishing trip…WHERE and WHEN would you go?!
Well for brown bass I would head to Lake Erie or St Clair first week of May. For largemouth I would head to Rodman Reservoir Dec, Jan or early Feb. If your willing to leave the country I would head to lake Baccarac in the late fall.
