Installed my new elite 4 yesterday, today ordered a ram mount for the bow that fit the humminbird I removed at the console. I also took advantage of BPS sale for a second time and ordered some sick fish and some 8lb mono. Then I ordered a spool of 10lb fluro off the bay and a new mini a-rig. Last week I made my third pre season powerteam order and have almost 100 tubes as well as various other PT baits ready to go. Last week I ordered that BPS bionic reel that they have marked down to be a dedicated topwater reel. I am officially done buying anything till I get some birthday gift cards, then it will be a couple new rods and I probably wont buy anything else for quite some time. I have no room for anything more.

Went in walmart the other day to get a tube of grease, decided I needed some more spike it and rounded the corner. Saw that the clearence box was full. Xcaliber XR50's for $2.29... I bought them all.

I also said I wouldnt throw an A-rig and that was due to size and needing a big rod, this was a game changer for me

Anyone throwing these? I have two ordered, at not much bigger than a spinnerbait I wont need an entirely new setup to throw it. Who are you buying them from, which models?

My drop shot rod currently doesnt have a hook holder at the bottom. I hook it on an eye and then a lure wrap.

I have to wonder how much of that nitro abuse was due to guys who bought glass boats and didnt know how to run or maintain them. Its probably THE most affordable brand new glass boat on the market. Guys run out and buy them as a first boat cause they can afford it vs a 50,000 ranger. I dont own one, not sure if I ever will but the new ones are definitely nice.

They put some giants in the creek behind my house. My buddy caught one last year 30" a golden rainbow. Thing was ungodly big. Me personally I leave every fish go I catch. I cant stand the consistancy of fish. I like shrimp, lobster... thats about it for now.

I know you said $100... mine is more like $200 and I believe was more at purchase ten years ago. I have a Renzetti Traveler with a full base.

Theres a controversial technique in trout fishing called "The San Juan Shuffle" basically you go upstream and stir up nymphs and what not on the bottom to create a feeding frenzy then tear them up. Well, Im certain you could have the same effect with a boat.

I dont know about you guys but im not sinking $100+ on a pinnacle reel when I can get a daiwa lexa for $109 shipped. Pinnacle came out of the gate too late with too high of a price point. Ya cant even look at them right now because they have a database file size error.

In the winter, the best place to find the bass on a river is a warm water outlet of some kind. Be it a spring or a power plant.
