Choke-lahoma forgot to bring the offense to the game. And yes, I saw Harris put a little hot sauce on that tackle on Harvin. You'd think if they were going to try to take out Harvin, they would've done it in the first quarter, not the 4th. ;D Although I thought Bradford deserved the Hesiman b/c of his insane #'s this year, if the Heisman was given after tonight's NC game, it would be in Tebow's trophy case right beside his other one. He's just a great player, period.

If I lived close to the Potomac, I'd never fish anywhere else. That place is LOADED with quality bass and they don't mess around. Some of my best days ever have been on the Potomac. I'll be there this Saturday, can't wait.

Any of the smaller jerkbaits get thrown with spinning gear. Also when I want to twitch in real short, real fast reps I'll use spinning gear, it just feels more natural with my right hand doing the work with those kind of reps....plus I have a bad left elbow.

I wouldn't brand Marty as a loser at all, he has just had some really bad luck in the Playoffs. I know Marty has nightmares about a guy named Elway, who single-handedly got Marty ousted from Cleveland with his heroics in Playoff games against the Browns. His Playoff luck has to change one day, might as well be when he's in Oakland.

I'm anxious to see what Al Davis does. I'm praying that he will swallow his pride, step aside (just a little bit) and at least TRY to bring in a 'proven' coach for the 2009 season. I'd actually like to see Bill Parcells go west and rebuild the Raiders. I know Shanahan's out of the question obviously but I'd take Marty Schottenheimer in Oakland in a flat second.

Being an X-File fanatic myself, this is my theory as well. Drastically drop prices before Christmas, people will have more money to spend, right after Christmas create some 'issues' and jack the price back up. Freakin' crooks! The high gas prices in the past couple years has a lot to do with this whole mess we're in right now.

I throw the 16's a lot, as well as the other DT's. After the first year the DT's were out the quality got better. I broke several DT lips that year when they first came out but once they corrected the problem, I haven't broken one since. I don't have any confidence problems with them at all now.

Excellent shaky head rod. Loomis usually does a pretty good job with their technique specific rods as far as getting the actions and powers dialed in. I'd buy another one if something happened to mine. I have a Pflueger Supreme 8030MG on it.

Several Elite guys fish FLW's when they have time. Ike actually won a Stren event and a nice $25,000 check a couple months ago on Kerr Reservoir. If FLW keeps raising the prize money every year like they have been, you'll most likely see more Elite guys crossing the line and fishing both. I don't blame them at all.

If the water level is high, just find you some flooded bushes and trees and go to work. Spinnerbaits, cranks, flukes, etc....plus you should have fish on beds during that time frame. You can't go wrong in Grassy Creek or Nutbush either one. Both are dynamite creeks in the late spring.

Plenty of people care about it. An authentic picture of a 28# largemouth would be like an authentic picture of the Loch Ness Monster.

I won't come out and call him a BS'er just yet but do we need to set a deadline for him coming up with this pic? How long does it take for someone to email and Photoshop a picture anyway?

drmnbig, I'm in Roanoke and also a VT fan. After many, many years of being let down by the Hokies, I've learned to be realistic about them. They won't can't win a National Championship with Stinespring as O Coordinator, it just won't happen. Until they get an OC that can effectively move the ball down the field against anybody they play, they'll be the same old team. Great D, below average offense. They love to get a small lead and sit on it. They need someone who knows how to finish a team off. Close the door when they get the chance. Stinespring doesn't do that and suddenly sitting on that small lead comes back to bite 'em in the @.$.$. It was refreshing though to see them come out on top in a BCS game, cause it dont happen very often. The offense looked a lot better (they were less predictable for once) and the D played like they always do. And don't expect to get too much ACC love in these threads, there's way too many SEC 'homers' on here.

I played the Wii Boxing for about 3 hours last weekend (I was left alone) and when I woke up the next day, I felt like I had been in an actual fight. ;D It sure was fun although it's probably not the best game for young kids. And although I sukk at bowling, the Wii bowling is a good game that gets everyone involved.
