Strike King's Bitsy Flip Jig
I like the bitsy jigs when I'm around smallmouth or the fish are suspended under docks.

PB&J
My best all around color is brown/green but there are times when PB&J will flat load the boat. I don't expect there is a correct answer as to which one is better, it's all about having the right color on the right jig at the right time throwing it in the right place. Both are good color patterns, trial and error will tell you which one is better on your home lake.

Trimming Jigs
I almost never trim my skirts. I will trim a weedguard though and thin it out if it needs it.

Bass do learn!!! they are smarter then you think Read this
....and how many times have you put the buck in the livewell and made cast after cast after cast to the female and she just doesn't even acknowledge there's a bait in sight? Strange things happen during the spawn. All rules are put on hold during the spawn.

Bass do learn!!! they are smarter then you think Read this
I havent responded on this subject yet so here it goes. I believe that bass can learn in the short term. For instance, a bass is caught on a crankbait on Friday. He sees the same crank on Saturday and Sunday but doesn't take it. Then M-F the next week, he doesnt see any baits, then all the sudden on the next Saturday, he sees the same crank and smashes it. I just dont think they can retain their knowledge for long periods of time.

Place to stay near Buggs Island?
The cabins in Occoneechee are awesome....we stay there twice a year. The 'no TV thing' kinda sucks though, especially if you get rained out for a day during your stay.

High speed?
I rarely ever watch a graph at higher speeds. I will watch my flasher though.

fish-head spin blade runner
They work best for me when the water is cold, usually when the water reaches the high 40's coming out of winter. I use the Fish Stalker's and the Buckeye Lures Ditch Blades.

Fish Finder or TV camera?
Definitely a fish finder. The underwater cameras are nice but are cumbersome to use efficiently. You'll end up messing with the camera a whole lot more than fishing.

UFC 93
92 was the best UFC PPV in a LOOOOOONG time.

UFC 93
I think Henderson will take Franklin, especially if it goes to the mat. Shogun vs Coleman is going to be a real battle, Coleman ain't no joke. All that said, I will probably skip this PPV since there isn't a title fight. I'm saving my money for BJ Penn vs GSP

Shakey Head Go-to Baits
I mostly agree with Matt, just made one slight change. It's really hard to beat that Power Bait Shaky worm, once they get a sniff, there's no going back.

Bama spot
The wet part, directly over his left shoulder.... ...and looks like the uncle knows how to back end somebody too! LOL! Good fish though, must be nice to get bit on topwater in January!

Insiders reason why Sam Bradford & Tim Tebow didnt go pro?
Most NFL talent scouts don't consider Tebow as having NFL 'game' anyway. Now, if some team committed to running the wildcat offense most of the time....he'd be perfect for that.

Custom Painting is great but . . . . . . . .
For that you shouldn't even have to cast. You should be able to just hold it up and the big boys automatically jump in the boat.

4th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
Oh, it will be an issue if more than four people plug in at the same time. Those onboard chargers pull a lot more amps than people think. Burley, you have officially been elected to keep our batteries charged. Thanks.

February Tournament
;D No kidding.....after the first couple lines I thought RW had done joined a bass club!!

Rapala DT 20
So when you say breaking on rock, are you talking about casting it up on some rocks on the bank or cranking it into rocks?
-
Rapala DT 20
Rapala fixed the 'problem lips' on the DT's a few years ago. I use the DT's a lot, (all of 'em) and I'm hard on crankbaits. I havent broken a DT in at least 2 years. I'm addicted to DD22's also and have been for a long, long time but you cant get 20' out of 'em. I'll be glad to finally have a few DT20's in hand.

My restored 1979 champion bass boat
Good job man! I expect there will be many bass caught in that rig.

gaston 1/1-1/4
Good report. Gaston rocks!
-
Don't Wait!
There should be enough seats with people who bring boats to catch a ride. I'm 99.9999% sure that you wont have to fish off the bank.

I like it when there is light to medium stain
