  1. I agree with this. My theory is if they did a report back to 2018/19 I bet its in the same ball park now. It seems the outdoor industry in general is going through a reset to pre covid. Just my theory.
  2. Thats cool. That would work great for vertical jigging walleyes on the Detroit River.
  3. I sell a ton of the Megalodon 3/4 and 1oz jigs and spinnerbaits for Baccarac. https://siebertoutdoors.com/products/ols/products/supreme-brush-jig-16d9f2a4-bc8f-477c-9883-a6a7d7719ac9
  4. I have a pair of Simms breathable I got at Cabelas on sale about 6-8 yrs ago. I trout fish in Jan/Feb and sometimes its down to 10 deg. I layer up and warm as can be. I think I paid about $200 for them on sale. I recommend the wader with the sock and then buy boots.
  5. I added the Living Rubber jigs awhile back due to the demand for them. I sell quite a few but nothing like the silicone skirts. IMO it has its place. For example fall rates, bigger profiles, and the movement of it. At times it does produce better than silicone. IMO.
  6. I've got some on order. Going to find out.
  7. I'm ending this one today. If your needing some Tungsten worm weights nows the time.
  8. Not much longer to jump on this.
  9. Good ol SW MO lakes. All rock. Love that lake. It might be that pic but water looks dirtier then its normal clear.
  10. I would see if the fish are just around it and if they are I'd use cranks, jerkbait, (moving baits). If they are in the brush I'd toss a jig in there and rip them out.
  11. I've been fishing a gin clear lake lately. I noticed when I went from 8lb to 6lb line drop shotting my bites went up and so did the fish size. I'm really considering trying 4 or 5lb(if i can find it.) Flouro Line.
  12. I'd probably drop it down to 1/8 oz or 3/16. I've been using a 1/4 for 20-25 fow.
  13. Some of the ones I would say: Dredge Dock Rocker Sniper Swim Grass This should be a good start to test and see what fits your style best. The Swim and Grass will go through the grass the best. The other two will go through and also go through the grass fairly well unless its thick.
  14. I'd probably move to a more subtle topwater like a spook or popr over a buzzbait. Topwater is still an option.
  15. Now until the end of the month all soft plastics that are in stock are 20% off. Use code softbaits. This even applies to sale items. https://siebertoutdoors.com/
  16. I just started fishing a really clear lake and using a 6xd. I wouldnt throw it in anything less then about 12 but even at 12 its going to drag the bottom. Big time. I was fishing in about 20 FOW on the side of a point pulling down the the 18-20 ft range. Worked good.
  17. For a limited time my Tungsten Rocket weights in the Black and Green Pumpkin powder painted are 15% off in stock inventory. https://siebertoutdoors.com/products/ols/products/tungsten-rocket-weight-10-pack-tng-rck-wgh-101
  18. I really like my HDS PRO 12's. and Lives. I have all of them linked together. Here is a pic of the console. I really like the new active imaging better then the old one.
  19. I've got several types. https://siebertoutdoors.com/products/ols/categories/spinner--blade-baits
  20. There is time and place for both. Experiment.
  21. It really depends on how I'm fishing one. I've been dropshotting a lot this year due to the gin clear lake I've been fishing alot. 1. Cast out and let it sink to the bottom. Engage reel and tighten line. Then I will let it sit there for a little bit.(varries on time). Then drag it a little and let it sit. repeat. 2. Drop striaght down to the bottom right in the fishes face and let sit and maybe twitch just a little. I have found less movement with the rod is better. I dont seem to catch fish on it when I add action.
