I've done two shows with them. I did the pilot which was accepted by the network and I did a show in 2005. Really fun shows. The host is a great guy. Maybe not your typical host but he knows how to run the show. If you want to check out my episodes, they are on my site. www.micromunchtackle.com click on the freshwater tackle link and then scroll across the page with the smallies all the way to the right.

another epic "colors" discussion
Bucket, I agree if you are fishy anything other than clear water. I fished bath tub clear water and these fish scrutinize lures at times. It is enough to drive you crazy to see a 10+ charge your bait and then put the brakes on as it just touches its nose to the lure. Color, detail, movement, size.....everything matters in this type of fishing. for most it is not the norm.

Chronarch MG50 vs Scorpion 4vs
Essentially you are comparing the Chronarch MG or Scorp MG to the standard MG? The weight difference is about 2oz.

hair jigs
Do a search for articles on this site. I wrote one last year called Hair Jigs: Cold Wate Gold or something like that. I generally fish hair jigs in the same fashion you would a sider worm. Slow steady retrieve.

Great deal on jigs and soft plastics.
Assalt makes good plastics. I make my own stuff and I still ordered a bunch from them. I ordered the 12th and got em the next week. Very quickly. I'm sure they are being bogged down with hufge orders so be patient.

BassMastMag (rant)
Keith, I wonder what responsibility BASS has to list the prices. They would help us out but after all they really are not selling anything, just doing a small write up. Advertisers are paying them to do that so the listing price to them is irrelevant and it is less print over all. I suspect that BASS has fallen on hard times with the PA Classic 2 years ago, the new format and shcedule to follow the spawn up the US. There is a reason all of these changes are happening..... the Citco thing, the exodus of talent leaving for FLW. We have not had them come out and say it but they must be hurting. They are sharing the top billing with at least 1 other organization. I heard a rumor that Ray Scott was coming back, don't know if that is true or not but the timing makes this interesting.

why do some bass have spots?
Exactly. They can absolutely change hue depemding on their surroundings. That is a pretty neat ability to have.
