  1. I always buy a valid fishing license and carry it as well as the required identification IAW the state laws. Purchasing one on line is about as easy as it gets. None of that has anything to do with whether or not I think or expect to 'get checked'. btw - looking a few pages back, I was fairly triggered in this one . . . . #goodcoffee A-Jay
  2. I can't judge on this one ~ Drove fast quite a bit. May have even fracture a regulation or two. Often on mostly deserted roads but not always. Really very foolish & definitely selfish. Not my proudest moment. Sold that ride a while back. Now a days it's just me, the speed limit & the cruise control. ? A-Jay
  3. Thanks Seems we are very similar in hardware preferance. I also use Owner Hyper wire split rings and line ties, Oval shaped exclusively on the nose. A-Jay
  4. Forgot to ask ~ @00bullitt What about hardware ~ split rings & lie ties ? Do you have an after market favorite or is most of the stock hardware on the baits you prefer sufficient for your needs ? Thanks in advance A-Jay
  5. Nicely Done ~ Thanks for taking the time & sharing this. A-Jay
  6. Finding Those Active Feeding Windows ~ Such an interesting topic and one that's been discussed and debated here many times; and always includes solid / useful info. This ones no different. My version of it has been shared a few times and may not be all that different from what's above. Could even be simply a matter of semantics. When it comes to smallies for me, active feeding windows usually have a few things in common. This is some of the deals I'm looking for. First as mentioned by @Catt it begins with location. So I'm starting this one with - there needs to be some type of deep water access/security near by; which can be a relative term. Presence of bait, it just has to be there, there's no way around it. No bait means no bass for me - always. Then the better conditions usually need to favor the bass. Meaning the right timing happens when the bass have a 'feeding' advantage. So much in this one; low light, wind on the water, emergent or dying back weed growth, bait that is pre-occupied by either spawning or perhaps even feeding themselves, pushing bait to the surface. The list goes on . . . . . As for milk running spots, I do it. I'll also camp on one or two. Both methods produce for me enough that deciding on which way to roll is often something I struggle with. Finally, it's interesting how at times, a simple bait or presentation change on a spot that seems slow, can change that. I don't do that enough as I'm usually pretty set with what I 'think' the bass will respond to. Either way, this is when my rod locker looks like it exploded onto the front deck. #stickseverywhere A-Jay

  12. Armed Forces Day is the proper day to honor all of the men and women currently serving, as well as those who have served and sacrificed to defend our freedom. ☆☆☆☆ What is the difference between Armed Forces Day, Veterans Day & Memorial Day? Veterans Day (previously observed as Armistice Day - the end of World War I), honors those who honorably wore the cloth of our nation at war & peace; and Memorial Day, honors those who gave the ultimate sacrifice while wearing the cloth of our nation. 23. LOL ~ I don't know what's going on. A-Jay
  24. Both 3/8 & 1/2 see equal action for me. Which one is usually determined by water temp, depth, and where in the water column I'm looking to present the bait. A-Jay
  25. Feel like I'm living inside one of those as we speak ! A-Jay
