Jighead's Most Productive Baits
stick a few in these BPS Tender Tube then stick a few of these on 10'' Big Bite Kreit Tail and if it gets real tough, try one of these Roboworm in Aarons Magic

Who prefers round casting reels to low profile?
While I don't prefer them, I really do like them. Don't fish one now but started with the BPS Pro Qualifier and would really like to get a Cardiff or even a Calcutta if I get rid of my E5, an idea which I keep toying with.

Curado e5
How do you accidentally buy an E7 for cranks? It just seems to me that a crankbait reel takes prior planning. You can buy a 6.x or 7.x and then decide what to use it for but when you buy a cranking reel, you buy a cranking reel. Not picking or making fun, just wondering if you decided you didn't need two 7.x reels and then decided to get a 5.x. Anyway, you should really like them, I have one of each and while my E5 is my deep crank reel, which I rarely throw, it performs very well.

Rage Tail Baits
The problem have with the shad is the tendency to turn over

Adding Rattles to SoftBaits
A cheaper solution would be the renegade worm rattles that can be bought at Walmart for 2-3 bucks

Reaction Strike Does it Again
Personally I would buy one or four of these. The price is right if they hold up. If any thing this is a copy of the smaller 4'' baits but almost every plastics company makes a ribbon tail worm...same difference.

Rage Tail Baits
I'm not a fan of the shad, have a pack that was given to me and just haven't really got into them. I would rather throw a frog or toad for a topwater plastic...but that's just me

What are some good crankin reels?
From personal experience, I would suggest a Quantum Energy in the Power ratio, a Curado E5, or a Daiwa Sol. I just started fishing cranks with the Sol, even though it seems its marketed as a finesse reel, it gets the job done wonderfully

Is this a good Jerk bait rod
like gone_fishing said, should be pretty good for the fast erratic jerks

$150 for 2 setups
P-Line no doubt...didn't care for the Silver thread and now fish pretty much all P-Line...also look into CXX, it's super strong

You Have Got $120.00 For a Rod . . . .
Yup. Gonna agree with this one...can be found for less than the 150 list if you shop around. Also gonna add a BPS Pro Qualifier for the 99 sale price and agree with the Mojo. To be honest, I don't get the no more or no less than 120....well just the no less part...kinda limiting choices here...

Yum Houdini Worms?
just another finesse worm

Is a more sensitive rod really necessary?

Is a more sensitive rod really necessary?
I originally thought that a crankbait rod did not need to be sensitive and at that time my 6'6''M BPS Crankin Stick was all I needed...This was until I started using a 6'10''MH Carrot Stix Gold for cranks....now it's impossible to go back to that crankin stick, and i've tried. It feels dead, I mean you can feel a bite and can feel if I pick up a leaf or hit something but differentiating between them is almost impossible unless I feel a head shake.

Question About Pflueger Trion Centrifugal Brakes
I wouldn't think so...but never fished a Trion...only Patriarchs and Supremes and they have the switches..
-
Ok, you have $160 for a b/c
Those would be my suggestions....but for what you mentioned, I would go with with the PQ or the Citica

Clipping front treble
I have never eally considered it but have heard...or read actually about putting and single worm hook on the back instead of a treble to help with the hookset and prevent the fish from throwing the bait. Personally, I have had too many fished hooked by the front hook ONLY to try that.

Carrot Stix
I can't say anything about you not liking the foam since that is all personal preference, but to say they aren't as light as other rods that is just assinine and looking for something negative. Next time try comparing the same rod and not a XH 7'9" to a 6'6" M. Pinky, it was only his opinion, if you think he got it wrong, that's cool too. But your retort might have been a little more polite. Hey Pinky try putting a Dobyns Champion Extreme in your hand and then get back to me. I don't have to tell what I think I can show what I know. I don't have a Dobyn's to compare, but I can't imagine I would like it (or any Loomis) any better than my Kistler. :-X Not trying to be overly aggressive but I do get a little overexagerated when someone makes a statement off of feeling rather than fact. First pic LTX Carrot Stix 6'9" MH Second pic Kistler Hellium II LTX 6'9" MH Just got a 6'9''MH LTX and man is it a little broomstick, much stiffer than my 6'10''MH gold....I love it...haven't had a chance to break it in properly but this weekend it will definitely be fished...If I get to go...I could handle another one or 12

attaching a strike 3x worm to a post shakey head
yeah...the 3x plastic isn't made for a spike

What line to put on 7' MH baitcast rod used for all treble hook lures?
