  1. Cool, thanks for passing that tip.
  2. Definately gives you a better view of the edge of that envelope from the inside lol Whew,...that's some talent right there.
  3. FIRST GEAR and slowly ease off the clutch.
  4. Duece,...can you hear me? WAKE UP DUECE! Funny, we had burritos here for lunch today, lol Great minds...
  5. No punch line Avid? lol ;D
  6. Oh please,.... ;D So you just wanted to come here and call people out so you can charge $850 to follow up your accusations? Even if you could write, I wouldn't do business with someone of your character. Now, RW has defended you in our mod forum, saying this type of "attack" mode is not your MO. He said you've always been a stand up guy, even helping others with the sport. I have read every word you have written (please don't bill me) and have yet to see the person he described. As for your agent, he must be cringing at your public unprofessionalism right about now.
  7. As sad as running away from addressing the questions at hand? I think not. Flechero is merely giving you a chance to prove yourself. He's called your bluff and leaving the forum now is the same as saying, "I fold". Funny though, considering the circumstances of how this all began by your posting negatively of the articles here due to their lack of fact or accurateness,it seems almost poetic that you now want to leave when your work is put under the same microscope. (run on sentence, I know, let it go) If that's what you're about, so be it.
  8. Bears vs seahawks. Let's see, a bear weighs about 500 lbs, has teeth, claws, very strong neck and sense of smell,... Seahawk is a bird but with some nasty claws,........hmmmmm ......I'm still gonna have to go with the bears. I'll take the bears put me down for 10X,lol Sorry guys, had to do it, there are lots of sports posts and I just feel left out, lol. I'll PLAY anything but watching,......not for me. In all reality though, I'd root for the Seahawks. Our Patriots have done it all already and the seahawks support CAST For Kids so they are my new team. Hope everyones team comes in 1st place this year!!
  9. Careful man, I decked a light duty 12 once, raising the center of gravity. Whether you were on the deck or in the seat, it was like skating on ball bearings, no fun. Also, If you plan on using the storage as "DRY" storage, you will also need a floor. More weight.
  10. I am backing up Catts suggestions and will add that a quick shot with a fine grain from a sandblaster gets all the pitted parts nice and clean before hitting it with the Alodine. You are just looking to remove the existing cancer, THAT"S IT!! As soon as you have new metal showing, clean it and begin Catt's suggested process. Just my .02, good luck with her!
  11. Are the bass definately bedding where you are? January? If so, there are a few articles above regarding tactics during the pre-spawn and spawn. Although I no longer fish for bedding bass, if you campout on the fish, 8 out of 10 times, you can catch her. Takes time to aggravate her enough to latch on and often times, she is just moving the bait off the nest. Stay focused.
  12. Took the words right out of my mouth! Way to go guys!
  13. Your dad may have physically passed on but he is surely alive here on this board. I know I'll carry this little piece of him with me for a long time, your story has stirred some emotions. Next foggy morning, when I'm waiting to launch, I will also say a special prayer for you and your dad. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Slow it down, it's winter. If you already have, slow it down some more. Cover every inch. Good luck.
  15. But my boat is bigger than yours, so which of us is the best? So simple. Whoever gets the most enjoyment out of what that person is doing. I can take a newbie fishing for the first time and spend the day teaching. To that person, with his day of catching fish, I bet he thinks I'm the best. How many guides think back to their BEST day at work and can mostly remember the joy of their customer. Buy back on topic, more or bigger, which is best? Whichever one YOU are trying to accomplish.
  16. Typical BassResourcer,...fishing from shore, with 2 handfuls of rods! ;D
  17. I think you misread that. That chunk was larger than RHODE Island!! A state! What message? That we are all going to die? You're right, not much of a theory,...much more of a fact.
  18. I doubt it would get that far with you RW. Don't you have a lisence to carry? lol Ignorant people suck >
  19. He's been to the LBH school of deceptives poses.lol t-rig-- Check out the sharelunker program. The fish goes to a hatchery and mates with other sharelunkers etc, etc
  20. Rock- Home is where the heart is. You had a great year in that little farm pond. That qualifies it as a REAL lake! (to me anyway)
  21. Maybe not right for a deck but floors would at least give you a flat place to put your feet and keep the gear out of the water that accumulates on the floor.
  22. I have a real nice set from Pentax that my family pitched in to buy me one xmas when I was still big in hunting tuna. Rarely used them. As for spotting a striper/bluefish boil, I have great difficulty using binocs for this. I can pick out "odd" water and diving birds from a distance. I find it much easier to spot them with the raw eyes (20/20 still). I have always had a knack of spotting the schools long before the other boats. My friend that runs fly charters here in RI is the only guy I know with the same level of sight. So maybe it's just me and my luck that my eyes haven't started to go yet but if you have decent vision to begin with TRY a pair before you drop $700. If you want to pay the shipping, I'll gladly send you mine to demo.
  23. My story is public knowledge, we filmed just about every fish over 3 lbs. My highlight for '06 would be getting associated with CAST (thanks Glenn) More rewarding than if I had a 10lbr out of RI water. Honestly, I would trade a 10 lbr to do it again in a heartbeat.
