  1. If I'm not mistaken, all RW fishes with is Yo-Zuri.
  2. ^^listen to him, and also you don't need a flouro leader if your main line is mono, its just another knot to break. As far as what cranks to get, if you are fishing from a boat you can get away with deeper cranks and not hit bottom as much, unless you want to to bang the bait of rocks, logs, ect. If you are fishing from shore I would go with a shallower crankbait that dives about 4-6 ft. That way if you fish with grassy bottoms, you won't collect so much grass on your retrieve.
  3. Auburn is holding their last qualifying event on Lake Martin this Saturday and I haven't been able to fish it at all. Anyone have any tips or info on Martin this time of year? I believe we are putting in at Paces or something along those lines. Any help is appreciated. WAR EAGLE!!

  16. Well under these circumstances I would define a redneck as an intelligent man. Why walk when you could be pulled? Why buy a snowmobile when you could use something you already own? This man knows how to save money, and get his butt out of the cold with out walking an inch. He should run for president....... :-X
  17. I'd only keep a state record bass, which in most circumstances, would mean the legal world record bass since I'm from Georgia.
  18. Never underestimate the power of a carp haha. I love catching carp, they really put up a great fight. Especially when catching them on smaller line like 8 and 10 lb test.
  19. Good to hear you had a good time. I love fishing, and being competitive, so putting the two together is just a hay day for me! I've got a tournament tomorrow and if I place top 10 then I will have earned a spot on Auburns Traveling team for the Southern Collegiate Series. If not, I've got once more chance on Dec. 6th to do it, thats our last tournament of the fall.
  20. Same here! When I first got a baitcaster though, I tried to cast lefty, quickly realized I shouldn't.
  21. Speaking of odd looking fish, I'm almost positive I caught a spot/largemouth hybrid, if thats possible. It was very green with a smaller mouth like a spots, and the pattern on it was similar as well only it was all different shades of green instead of a brown. Anyways great first smallie. Go out and prove your friend wrong!
  22. Is the jake from the au team?
  23. She asked me why I wouldn't let her take the car, I said because there is no road between the kitchen and the bedroom...and then the fight started.
  24. It was $2.67 back home in GA. Didn't see it anywhere cheaper.
