  1. I really like the feel of mine. It is a little tip heavy though but I never fish more than 3-4 hours at a time anyways, so it doesn't bother me. Other than that I like it. I really doubt it's comparable to your Cumaras and IMXs though.
  2. Basspro does it on their website usually.
  3. Hahah Now you can use that 15 you saved to get a pointer!
  4. That sale at BTD got me for 434. It'll be another 289 after I order the 2 reels I need tonight. :-[
  5. I agree, but you should ALWAYS look into other peoples opinions first. Whether it is a rod, reel, a tv, laptop, etc. I mean reviews help make solid purchases.
  6. Mine is still going strong over 2 years I think. I don't see how you could NEED 250gb. I was unlucky enough to purchase the 40gb when they were the price the 120s are now. And if I get a new game, I have to delete stuff. 40gb is not near enough. Especially if you put demos on there. I have 11 games and then rent some so I have all those downloaded on the ps3 since that's what it does when you start the ps3. I've gotten to the point where I don't have any demos on there and when I get a new game, I'll have to delete another downloaded game. I'd think you'd be fine with 120 though. Plus it sounds like you have a bad ps3 anyways and should take it back no matter how many gigs you decide on.
  7. Yeah I'd check out the Champion series. I've heard they're very sensitive while being very light and well balanced. Either way you go I'm sure you'll be happy.
  8. Ended up getting the dx744c for jigs/heavier trigs/crigs and a ss663c for spinners/jerkbaits! Can't wait for them to get here now.
  9. 4" BPS Stik-o produces the most for me.
  10. Yeah that's what I'm thinking about the reels. But yeah the regular Champion was what I was originally going to get but then decided if I'm going to be spending that much anyways might as well just go ahead and get the best.
  11. Another question. I was thinking I'd order the Curado with it, but I have been wanting to replace my 6'6" black max combo that I use for jerkbaits (husky jerks, pointers) and spinnerbaits with a dobyns savvy series so should I go ahead and get this rod and just wait on the reel? The reel is 140 with the 20% off but I figured I see them for sale online for this much or less all the time. I only have about 500 dollars to spend.
  12. I usually throw 1/2-3/4 C-rigs and jigs will go from 1/4-1/2.
  13. I'm wanting to go ahead and get my next champion extreme but am unsure which I should get. I will be using it mostly for jigs, but during the summer I tend to throw very few jigs and more texas rigs. I have a texas rig set up, but would rather use the dx and be able to double it up since when it warms up I don't throw jigs much anyways, so I'd hate to spend that much on a rod that wouldn't see much use except when it's cold. I think the DX744C would be perfect, but I know how some rods say they can handle lower weights but really can't. I like throwing 1/8-1/4 bullet weights on my t-rigs could this rod handle that? Should I go for the 704 instead? I mean I'll probably use it for c-rigs too. I'm thinking I'm going to get the Curado E7 to go on it, would this reel pair nicely on the rod and be good for these applications? Thanks guys!
  14. Yeah really, that's just pathetic.
  15. I just got one mostly for shaky heads but will also use it for drop shots, tubes, or anything light.
  16. Except almost double the price? : Can this thing do 300 dollars worth more than the Core? Haha I mean it weighs almost twice as much as the Core, what exactly are you paying the extra 300 for?!
  17. Not according to all the videos I watched, its a bass reel using very common lures. I would not pay 630 dollars for a reel weighing almost 10 ounces. For a high dollar reel for normal techniques I'd expect the weight to be light. Unless Jake is right then that would make sense.
  18. What was wrong with it? I don't understand what you typed but I had a megaforce for a while and didn't care at all for the twitchin bar but the reel performed great, until I broke it. I replaced it with a bps pro qualifier but the Citica is a great reel if you have the extra few dollars.
  19. Has anyone used one of these? It looks pretty wild I'd try it if it were a lot cheaper. haha http://www.***.com/descpageHARDSEBILE-SSPIN.html
  20. I've only used a couple different rods. St. Croix was (the premier and mojo) but now that I got my Dobyns that thing is just too sweet!
  21. Definitely not something I'd ever wear, or spend that kind of money on BUT it would look pretty sweet as a normal clock or something. Which it pretty much is they just put straps on it for some reason. hahahah
  22. Loomis and St. Croix would be tied at 9 even. haha
  23. I usually shore fish and almost never bring out my ipod, but a couple weeks ago I went out there and had it on me and just put my ear phones in and then never took it out until I left. I think I might start doing it more often, because usually from the shore the only thing I can hear are the stupid geese and annoying dogs barking. But I do enjoy when it is nice and quiet only being able to hear myself fish.
