I have one and really like it. The ONLY thing that people don't like about it, is that it is a little tip heavy. It doesn't really bother me, but for you it might. Sensitivity wise it won't get much better in the 100 dollar range. I use mine for light t-rigs and it works great. I'd use a 7.1 for the spinnerbaits/buzzbaits/lipless cranks, and frogs. 6.4 worms/senkos 6.3 swimbaits

Just noticed you asked for better all around rod. Generally MH rods are better "all around" rods.

I hate firetiger as well. Just looks weird, which is probably why I've never thrown/bought one.

How heavy of weights are you wanting to throw on it? If you're like me and generally never throw more than 1/4oz for t-rigs and you're wanting it for weightless plastics as well the medium power would probably be best.

ive seen a few showings and the beatdown looks 100% real. I see that the fights are real, but those people look like they might be actors. Ive only seen an episode or two, but I tend to think most of MTV's shows are completely staged (Next, Date My Mom, Parental Control, etc.). Yeah MTVs bully beatdown has got to be one of the best non-obvious staged shows they have. It's more than likely staged but at least it's not as obvious as some of their other pathetic excuses for a show.

Mine is a spinnerbait too. I've caught ONE fish on a spinnerbait since I've been bass fishing (summer of 08), even though I always hear how well it catches bass.

x2 I spent 8 dollars on 2 and it was just put together poorly. All of the skirt was on the bottom of both of them with a big gap of no skirt on the top.

Garbage sales. I took an hour drive, took an old reel and traded it in, then didn't even end up getting a reel. haha I was about to get a Revo SX but decided against it in the store. Then picked up a few lures, 2 of which were on sale and rest were regular priced. The only good thing about today was I did get a slow sink 6in BBZ rainbow trout that I'm excited about.

I got one for Christmas to try out and was able to check out the action on the water and it is sweet. Has an incredible action to it, I'm sure it'll catch fish whichever way you chose to fish it. Great little swimbait for the price. Can't wait to catch some fish with it though.
