Left handed? Right Handed? or Both?
100% comfortable with both. I do prefer left hand for punching/flipping so I dont have to change hands.

Mojo vs. Veritas
I just purchased a 6'6" M spinning veritas and used it for the first time monday. Very light and comfortable to fish with. I did not want to put it down..

What type and weight of jig heads for tubes?
Not to steal the thread but i just recently started playing with tubes and have not got a bite on one yet. I'm using 3.5 SK Coffee tubes with a 3/0 EWG and a glass rattle inserted into the tube. Will the rattle get in the way on hook set?

Cheap reels..
I thought it was just me but I could not get my SX dialed in like I wanted on my pitching rod. Its a dream casting spinners and cranks though. Bought a revo s for pitching and it is money... Thinking about trying the Orra sx on another pitching rod..

new kistler on the way
I'm selling off all my Kistlers for Veritas. I think im hooked on the nano fiber. Super light and priced right

Veritas
Thats perfect for the MH flip. I wouldnt go over 1oz with it. Any bigger and the H would be a better bet. Im going with 2 of each. ;D Id suggest that 7'3MH for pitching, but you may prefer a 7ft rod. Most of my punching is done with 3/4 oz so I should be fine. I think you can play a big fish a little better wih MH vs a H so I dont want the broomstick unless I really need it. If I break one horsing a fish out of the grass though then I will prob regret going with the MH. We will see how it goes. I may just go with the 7'3" for pitching plastics for the better hookset.

Veritas
Since I started this thread I sold my 7'8 H Kistler magnesium and ordered a 7'6 MH Veritas for fishing Jigs, C-Rigs, and punching mats. My H Kistler was rated up to 1oz, the MH Veritas is rated to 1 1/4oz so it does seem they are rated a little lighter than they actually are. I am also selling two other Kistler rods I have to buy one 7'MH Veritas for pitching t-rigged plastics...Pretty soon I will have white all over my deck...

Veritas
So have I. I have 6 of them now ;D except for my deep cranking rod. I think the 7'6" Veritas will have too much muscle for deep cranks but havent really checked into it yet. SeanW have you checked out the 7'6 and if so would it suit deep cranks or more for swimbaits? I have the 7'2" Carrot cranking stick for deep cranking and love it. It actually feels just like the Veritas and can be found for $99

Veritas
Picked up a 6'6" M spinning for shaky head, finesse applications. This is the second nanofiber rod I have now. Man the way these rods feel really makes me want to replace every rod I have with a veritas...Price is great as well!

For those of us not throwing a jig/trailer combo
I went all out on my first Jig fish and caught a 6.5 in 25ft on top a brushpile. I plan on using it alot more this year...

Paca Craw presentation
JMO....the rage line is a little over rated and over priced as well. I guess this is due to their great marketing efforts. Not saying they are bad baits but there are other baits out there just as productive and still economical such as Netbait and Zoom. My favorite SK soft plastics are the perfect plastic line to be honest. I like the hollow body on the pacas for inserting a rattle.

For anyone that may be looking to build a website for there club I have a recommendation. www.godaddy.com I just recently used it to build a site for our club and it was pretty painless. Did you ever buy a lure/lures that just didn't catch anything???
Knock off Senko...Tried several brands Just bought NetBait Salt Licks and will give them a try. For all the money i've spent experimenting with stick baits I could have bought a couple year supply of Senkos.

Custom Hand Pours
Just ordered some from a local www.nastybaits.com Curious to see what kind of difference they will make in bites and how they hold up. Anyone using exclusively hand pours?
-
Veritas
I would say the Veritas feels very close to a carrot stik. Thats what it felt like to me anyways.

Izorline Platinum
Exactly what I just said. ;D Ah..I thought you were saying the memory would be worse if left on the original spool. Sorry..
-
Izorline Platinum
"The line's memory coils will be much larger if left on the spool it came on than if I put it on the smaller diameter BC spool. Back to top " Actually the smaller the spool the more memory or tighter coils the line will develop. Its better off on the larger spool until your ready to use it.
-
Izorline Platinum
Tried a search but cannot find many reviews.I ordered 300 yds of the green to spool on all my moving bait rods. I have been using big game and while it is very strong and manageable when you first spool it up I find it develops memory after a short while. Anyone using izorline platinum?

Net Bait
Just got a wild hair and ordered $50 worth of Net Bait Finesse, T-Mac, and Paca Bugs to see how they compare to zoom finesse, trick, and baby brush hogs being they are a little cheaper and injected with pork fat. The profiles on the finesse and t-mac seem very close to the zoom finesse and trick worm but the net bait finesse worms have a flat nose to help with rigging on a shaky head and the tails are supposed to float up a little higher than the zoom. Also picked up some paca craws to pitch around cover. I have never used net bait products but am anxious to try them out. I will continue to use zoom baits as well but its always nice to have another affordable option. Are there many Net Bait fans out there?

Did you vote today?
Yes....It is just a shame that the majority of voters do not really UNDERSTAND what they are voting on and for. They are voting off of their parents or grandparents beliefs of the past. Times are changing and the Dems of the past are not nearly what they are now. If your going to vote please understand what you are voting for. If you don't and are voting just to say you voted please stay home... I had a co worker this morning admit that she pays no attention to politics and has given up on our country and did not know what the outcome of the elections were last night. I let know what the outcome was and that I was excited about most of it and she just looked at me and said" Don't you know Republicans are for the rich"is that what you want?" I cannot even explain how PO'ed this makes me that there are people like this that are so oblivious to reality.

who are the top 3 teams in the nfl?
The Jets and Steelers were both handled this week by NFC teams. I would not crown anyone yet. My AFC comment earlier in the thread really rubbed you the wrong way, didn't it? ;D Nah its all in fun man..I just thought about this thread while driving to work this morning and had to rub it in a little bit. No sweat here man, my Raiders beat one of the 'better' NFC teams yesterday, 33-3. I didnt have the Jets in my Top 3 because I still feel like they're a bit over-rated by the media and I'm not sold on Sanchez yet. Raiders have been impressive...
