There are a lot of factors that play into what's going on. Would you work at a slaughterhouse if you could make more money sitting at home? I'm a wholesaler in the hvac/r industry. My costs have skyrocketed as well as lead times to get parts. My costs of refrigerant have tripled currently with no end in sight. I'm waiting months to replenish stock on common parts. Build to order parts lead times have doubled and tripled.

No ammo, but... Just got home from Cabelas. Last time I was there a couple months ago they had zero handguns and a handful of long guns and shotguns. Today the shelves were 3/4 full. A ton of long guns, shotguns and AR's. Pretty good selection of pistols and zero revolvers. Unfortunately for me, no Mini 14's or LCR's

My nephew will be moving there in the next month or so, depending on covid restrictions, to attend college. He's got a mild form of autism which, when something interests him, allows him to focus on it intently. He fell in love with Japanese culture beginning with anime and taught himself to speak Japanese fluently while in high school. Me, I'm like you. If I can't drive there, i have no interest in going. I don't mind flying, but I hate the whole airport experience, being treated like cattle being lead to slaughter.
