  1. I have had a number of shoulder surgeries due to injury, not shoulder replacement. The last one I had was in 2014. I tore my trapezius and rhomboid muscles off my shoulder blade, including other damage in 2012 that took 3 different surgeries to repair. I pretty much tore my left arm off without actually tearing it off. I am legally disabled but you wouldn't know it. I sold all my shotguns and gave up tournament fishing. I've become more of a multi species fisherman. The reality for me is, I can deal with the pain and discomfort on the water. The recovery time is what whoops I disagree. I can bass fish an 8-10hr day and it will take me 2-3 days to "recover" from it.
  2. That explains a lot
  3. Covid didn't ruin anything. The reaction to it did.
  4. I believe that movie "took place" in 2020 or 2022, I don't remember. I buy in bulk when food goes on sale. If the grocery shelves went bare tomorrow, I've got at least a month or more before I have to convert to cannibalism.
  5. I can't get past the port wine taste and, for $50 a bottle!!!
  6. Just start eating the children
  7. Got this from a customer today. A late Easter present. Very smooth
  8. Bought my last boat 10 years ago. Sold it 2 years ago. Will be buying my new last boat in the next year or so. Did I mention I bought a little 14footer a week after I sold the Lund? If it makes you happy....
  9. Don't buy property on a lake I've had confrontations with 2 "Karens" I believe the male version is called a "Terry" One was on Lake Michigan with my son. Kid was young and we were shore fishing from docks in a marina . A boater that leased a slip came out and told us we needed to leave. We were fishing in his backyard. My son and I moved to a different set of docks. "Terry" did not want us there and the harbor master threw us out. Second time I already mentioned. I feel bad for folks that are miserable
  10. What do you expect from a boycotted beer?
  11. Love ya babe!
  12. Might be. $90 an hour may not be on the check but when you add bennies...Journeymen Pipefitters in Chicago are over $50 on the check and probably $80-90 for the package. The employer contributing $500 a week towards the employees 401K and a Cadillac insurance policy is not a bad deal. And that doesn't even include the pension.
  13. Joetato?
  14. If it makes you feel better, I have little faith in you being a moderator.
  15. Lost a neutral? If the issue is with the neutral, it has the potential to be dangerous and could smoke everything electrical in your home
  16. I've been peppered from duck hunters...Much of this is about respect. I was fishing docks with my dad. Had a gentleman ***** and ***** and ***** that we were fishing his dock. His grandkids swim there...On the way back into the ramp, dad ticked in his coffee cup and told me to slow down as we passed his dock. Poured the tick in the lake. Said the guys grandkids could swim in his tick. With all due respect Glenn, your editor sucks.]
  17. Maybe. Dad always said my sister was found under a rock.
  18. @A-Jaypretty sure you don't care much for me or my antics. I truly feel for everything going on between you and Lynn. You're straight up. You may not like me and I may not like you, don't know , never met you.... but you're straight up and it's commendable. What I say, I mean. Take it how you want it. I'm a.....forgot how to use English but I'm not an ass.
  19. Mom and dad screwed and I was born.
  20. Here's a reality. Unemployment may be at record lows...don't believe it. I make a good buck. As you may or may not know, my grandson doesn't have a father. I applied for a part time job for $20 an hour to help him and was given an offer the following day. Your/our government does not like that. I have to have extra money pulled from my part time check up front so I don't have to pay it on the back end. He'd probably be better off without me and just get benefits on his own thru his mother.
  21. Not the issue. CEO's have always taken their "fair share". Workers have zero influence or control over the current situation. What's going on today is a reaction to what happens in Washington. A reaction to what's going on world wide. I stress the word reaction. I can tell you, my employer loves this. Our margins have not changed but, making 10% on $100 or making 10% on $200 with zero effort...it's a no brainer. The local folks in charge don't care either. Sales tax on a gallon of gas as an example. They would much rather gas be $4 a gallon than $2 a gallon.
  22. You forgot Lund #1 hull in the industry for aluminum in northern waters. I know Lund isn't a name in the south. It's not one to discount.
  23. And Vedder makes a nice pocket holster for it. At least they do for the first gen Lcp which I have.
