  2. No good deed goes unpunished. Sorry for your loss
  3. Took dad to do a little meat fishing on the Fox. The kitty was the big fish of the day, maybe 5-6 lbs. Funny thing was, we probably caught over 40 juvenile bass.

Or don't keep the safety on when carrying. I have one in the chamber on the M&P and a quality Kydex holster. Safety is off. My XD has a trigger and palm safety but I generally don't carry that as it's a bit bulky.
  5. Wasn't a fan of Get Smart. I dream of Jeannie though....
  6. Lots of good looking women have youtube fishing channels.
  7. Snow is falling in Chicago right now
  8. I thought that only happened when you wake up next to a one night stand
  9. Tasted very much like a rootbeer float. I'm not big on cream liqueurs and generally will only partake around the holidays or gatherings. Will be the same with this.
  10. I'm on Losartan as well. Did the Lisinopril for almost a year. While it worked, I had a constant tickle in my throat and a dry cough. I think it cleared up about 2 weeks after I got off of it.
  11. Might have to get the motor height adjusted
  12. I just picked it up today. It's no better or worse than any type of cream liqueur. Would taste fine on the rocks. A customer and I were talking bourbon today and he sidelined to this. 1 part bourbon cream, 2 parts rootbeer and about an ounce of whipped cream vodka. Taste is pretty darn close to a rootbeer float.
  13. The rhomboids and trapezoids are the ones that were torn off the shoulder blade. They are just sutured back on. Unfortunately my range of motion and strength is a fraction of what it should be. Simple actions like resting my arm out the window while driving will cause muscle spasms and headaches for hours. Stretching doesn't do much more than cause spasms as well. I have an indentation on the blade and can literally feel the muscles slide around. Don't want to sound like I'm copping out but what I can do physically is limited at best.
  14. I've been in constant pain/discomfort since 2012. After my last surgery in 2015, the pain was tolerable and less annoying. It's become more prominent in the last few months. PRP sounds to me like it's similar to cortisone only using my own blood. I've had cortisone shots before and they are hit or miss. I don't want to waste my time or money on these shots if they don't work. Doc explained them to me. His office does the shots. He is not my orthopedic doc and I have not consulted my orthopedic doc. . Doc in business to make money and while I trust the doc, money affects people in different ways. I question whether he's looking out for my best interest or his best interest. It's why I'm here asking questions.
  15. Doc is recommending this for my shoulder to help with pain relief. https://www.webmd.com/fitness-exerci...sma-injections For those not familiar with my background, I had a work injury in 2012 that took me out of the field. I had 3 surgeries on my shoulder, the last and most evasive was scapular muscle reattachment in 2015. I've been experiencing more pain and discomfort over the last few months. I know I've torn at least one of the repaired muscle off a few years back. Between that, scar tissue, and getting older, I'm hurting. Not looking for supplement or medication advice, just feedback on this or some other type of pain management therapy.
  16. My boat mechanic also sells bait. Every morning he takes the dead minnows from the bait tank and feeds the bass that hang out at the ramp.
  17. As does most of IL. Lincoln Park is considered Northside. West Chicago is a suburb about an hour west of the city limits. Lincoln Park is still nice and very affluent. The riff raff from other parts of the city have been moving outside their comfort zones. They are getting bolder. When I lived in the city proper I spent most summer evenings at the lakefront either fishing, swimming, drinking or all three. I also spent 1/3 of my adult life working in some of thee crappiest neighborhoods in the city. I've been robbed at gunpoint twice and had a few "scuffles" with people. The tone has changed and/or I have just gotten older. I don't care to go to the city unless I have to. I've been in the burbs for close to 25 years now. The only thing missing from the burbs is the lakefront and what a beautiful lakefront it is.
