  1. 5 boats, 4 trucks, vacations, gear, etc., Probably enough to buy a real nice house.
  2. Was made a law as the result of influence by insurance companies. There's a product out there called Tri Flow. A locksmith told me about it. I spray the lock cylinders annually with it as well as the hitch, winch, and boat buckles. Fantastic stuff. As far as the OP, a 5lb sledge or a piece of pipe would have been the fastest way to remove the lock. The hardened steel will break apart with ease.
  3. How low is it possible to go without bogging down the motor? Is trolling 1-3mph doable? Idle on my 2 stroke ProXS 225 on a 20 ft Lund was 4-5mph. The plan is to move into a 23-25ft hybrid bay boat. Same style hull the Lund had. Deep V at the bow and a pad at the stern
  4. Don't know how feasible a kicker will be. I'm more than likely going into a bay boat. I'd be able to troll with the TM as long as the wind isn't bad. I know a lot of walleye guys will use the kicker for propulsion when trolling in conjunction with the Ipilot to steer the boat.
  5. Does anyone know with the digital controls offered by Yammie and Merc, are you able to dial speed down lower than what I would call idle speed or 4-5mph? Could you dial it down to 1-3mph for trolling? Or is a kicker, drift bags, or trolling plate still needed to get that slow? If it is possible, does it require autopilot? I know Yammie pairs up with Garmin for their autopilot.
  6. Have no Idea what you're talking about jobwise. Don't know what an API is. Congrats and drive it like you stole it. I just applied for an instructors position in hvac. Not planning on quitting my current job, just looking to teach in the evenings. My industry is hurting for help. If I can make a difference, I will.
  7. Gotta love the tornado sirens going off....
  8. Tornado sirens are going off
  9. Nice to see you got out finally.
  10. Today?
  11. There's a resurgence of old threads...People need to go out and fish.
  12. I sympathize. But 10yo threads... It's been windy as all get up here. I've been out once this year. Winds blowing 20-30 this weekend as well.
  13. I have fished the Chain for 20 years...Competed for most of those years. Don't worry about baits, worry about cover this time of year. Fish as close to cover as you can. Black and blue and PB&J are going to be the biggest producers.
  14. Off topic but I argued with a waitress at a restaurant because she gave me too much change. She insisted she was correct. The restaurant is no longer in business. I'm sure it's not her fault, but I'm sure she contributed to it's demise. Generally, it's politics. The people involved know how to navigate their way thru the "system". I submitted an $8K quote today to a customer. The response I got was "Split it into 2 quotes because anything over $5K won't get approved". I'll submit (2) bids for $4K and it will get pushed thru. Politics...
  15. Been windy as hell in Chicago. Now that I've been putting around in a 14 footer, Fishing from shore has been the better option this spring.
  16. Stop opening 10 year old threads. Go out and fish!
  17. Never said I wus a good speller
  18. How do you like the Zuke? I'm shopping bay boats and many come with Suzuki's
  19. A good base is 50/50 soy sauce and worstischishire sauce. Add whatever spices you want.
  20. Make your own. I'll wait until top round roast is on sale for 3.99 a pound and then make a bunch and store it in the freezer
