Keep it civil and non political While IL has some very strict firearms laws, many unconstitutional IMO, we(I) wasn't subject to the laws of NY and CA as far as CCL and having to prove a necessity to carry concealed. I think this is a great step forward for the citizens in those affected states to be able to protect their property and their loved ones.

Tough going. My dad has been deteriorating physically the past few years and it was kicked into high gear after mom passed. Dad still has his wits but has lost his short term memory. He'll sometimes call multiple times a day to tell me the same thing he told me earlier. All we can do be around to take care of those who took care of us and be an example for our kids who will eventually be in the same boat we are in right now.

Better to have to drink your own than have to drink a strangers....
