Still cold in Michigan 32 and strangely sunny.....although it doesn't feel like spring, it sure sounds like it. Woke up this morning and I heard birds chirping.

I bought the Tour edition PT VI when it went on sale for 150 during TW 12 days of christmas sale. Just tried it out in my canal and it seems really nice. Didn't catch anything haha, but casted very well with a 1/2oz spinnerbait. and 3/8oz bullet sinker. It will get put through it's paces come Guntersville.

If I can have something customozed in the way it looks, I will. I like my stuff to be unique. So I though about painting my reels. I don't use my Daiwa procaster anymore so I thought I could test it out on that, then perhaps do my TD advantage. Anybody done this? If so, what works and what doesnt? I don't own an airbrush so would a spray can work good?

The two veritas I own were put though a lot last year. Being a bank fisherman, they get a lot of abuse. Stuck into the ground while walking as well as being caught up on branches and being dropped. Ive even closed the car door on the tip of one and it was fine.

Michigan's bass season doesn't start till April so, even if we did have nice weather....yaaaaaaa, I'm still jealous...All we got is soggy 40 degree days, and currently, sustained winds of 30mph.

I have the BPS bass stalker tackle bag which holds and to be honest, it is way to big for a shore bag. For me, when I shore fish, I bring a fishing satchel that holds two 3600s, one 3500, and a few bags of plastics. I also take that satchel when I go out in the kayak. That shimano backpack looks really nice though, 4 3600s and it looks like it's got enough misc pocket. I don't think I would pay 120 for it but it is nice.
