Well atleast you are catching something eh? Im going to my favorite shorespot today. Air temp is 39, sunny, little wind. Who knows if I will catch anything, but I know I need to get outside.

Dang man , I never really knew much about him other than he was the owner, but watching that video, he did a lot for kids, and that's really great. Wish I could have met him. He shall live on through the lures.

Being able to carry 8 360 boxes is awesome. just take out a few boxes to make room for your plastics. I'm sure you do not need really 8 360 boxes just shore fishing haha. I do about 85% of my fishing from shore, and have gone through a good amount of tackle boxes/bags, and the stalker tackle bag is by far the best one I have owned.

Got some jigs from Cadman and went to work. I got these heads plus finesse jigheads and will be ordering plenty more shortly. Cadman did the pouring and painting, I just put the skirt on.

Well tomorrow it is supposed to rain but Thursday it is supposed to get to 43 at my favorite shore spot. Jigs and big worms it shall be.

Just outta curiosity, at what temperature will you stop fishing? it gets to about 40 and down to 30 at night. Is there a temperature where you just stop fishing?

Put it in the oven for 1 minute at 400, took it out, put on the paint, put it back in to melt the rest of the powder nice and good. Gonna have to order more colors though. All I got is black and white =/. Also, can powder paint be used in an airbrush gun?

my BPS stalker bag has enough room for 8 360 boxes, I only use 5, and that makes enough room for a spinnerbait binder and my the plastics that i need.

Thanks guys, I have some relatives over decorating cookies so I think instead of decorating cookies, I will be decorating spinnerbaits. And Ted, I am eagrly awaiting my samples!

What I was doing was putting fishing the cap from the powder container, heating up the head and dipping in one side, then dipping the other. With the wire arm of a spinnerbait, I can't really dip it into my little powder container. Also, I was using a small candle to heat it up and I get black soot all over my heads. Especially when using white, If I just put it over the candle to get the rest of the powder melted, It get's black. What do you guys used for a heat source instead of a lighter or candle? And how can I get an even coating on my spinnerbait?

I have a 7'MH casting and a 6'6MH spinning. Both have been put through a good amount of abuse, shoving them in the car, dropping them on the ground, and I walk along banks a lot so when I walk sometimes the tips get caught on a branch. And also, up against 30" pike and on muskie. Haven't had one break yet.

Was fishing a buzzbait for the first time and was catching them left and right. Was fishing from shore and saw a tree that had fallen into the water, Buzzed it over the top of it and boom went the dynamite. Didn't have a scale back then or any kind of camera with me. Lifted it up and tried to put that feeling in my head. Went home and stopped at a party store to get some ice, lifted and 7lb bag, and right there I knew I had caught a 7lb bass in Michigan, watup!

I think I am going to go with the powell endurance series rods, the 6'7 MH one is 35% off and I have gift card screaming to be used.

I remember the EPA tried to ban lead in michigan last year. That sucks man, but the only things I can think of are tungsten and tin. I know that if they are about to pass that in Michigan, that I will be buying up as much lead sinkers and scrap lead I can buy.

Lund Explorer had suggested it in another post in the Everything Else forum. And I thought it would be a great idea to meet at the Ultimate Fishing Show in Novi, at the Rock Financial Showplace. I know it is a little early but I am just curious to see who would like to go. I had him autograph my redeye shad and chatted with him a bit. Would like to see him again but he is scheduled to be there on friday and no other day, and there is a Bass clinic I would like to go to and it is only available on Saturday. I wish I didn't live all the way in Algonac haha. So would any michigan guy's be down for this? I know I will be there Saturday, I don't know about Friday.

I'm getting to the point where I want to have specific combos for specific uses, the first technique specific rod I want to get is for spinnerbaits. Now, I think 6'9 M would be perfect. If I'm fan casting out on the boat, i got a little extra length to help get my lure out there, but if Im in my kayak going along the bank, I can make quick accurate casts to specific targets. I don't use 3/4oz spinnerbaits very often, 3/8oz and 1/2oz being the usual. As for a actual rod, I was thinking a G.Loomis spinnerbait rod, the reel would be a Quantum Tour Edition PT VI. What do you think fellas?
