  1. I feel you man! The heat really did a number on us today!I live in Wauchula right off of 17 as well. No really good spots locally though! I mainly fish the HighLands Co area. Lake Istokpoga in Lorida, Lake Walk in Water near Kissimmee, Lake Ready in frostProof etc! Maybe we can do some fishing one of these days man!
  2. WOW, i would definitely find a way to get a loan or something man! Do you know how much those Comanches are worth!?!

  6. Well, do you? I will usually kiss the 1st one of the day and any hawgs along the way as well! My fishing bud will kiss all of them. Especially the DINKS!!!!! ;D
  7. I would say a fiberglass boat would be better! It will be a lot more stable in rough waters! Probably faster at getting you to your spots. Plus they look so COOL!!!!!!!!!!!! 8-)
  8. Powell, Falcon Cara and Kistler are VERY good manufacturers and very similar in actions as well! Powell being my 1st choice of course.
  9. No FL bass fisherman, NONSENSE!!!!! Central FL stays Bass fishing man! Me, 50 or so relatives and a couple hundred friends around my area(just off the top of my head)! And yes, Fl is still the fishing capitol of the world!
  10. My recommendation is not in your price range but i will throw it out anyways! It is an absolute powerhouse and very sensitive too! Powell Max 766H for $169 shipped. http://www.***.com/descpageRDCPOWELL-PFLR.html In your price range i can think of an All Star Big Boy flippin' stick for $99.99. It is a brute but very heavy. Also, the BPS Nitro is almost in the price range for $139.00. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_51843____SearchResults http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_97964_100002000_100000000_100002000_100-2-0 And i am pretty sure there is a couple here in the flea market section that fit the criteria!

  17. I will usually take extra of what i need. Like if i know i am fishing a SHALLOW lake with abundant vegetation, i will only bring plastics and a few Rat-L-Traps. If i am fishing deep lakes, i will bring deep divers and Carolina rigs. You get the picture!
  18. Are you wondering if yours is off? Which do you use now? I use a Berkley one that seems to be quite accurate!
