Owner vs Gamakatsu
THERE IS NO WAY MAN! You may have gotten a bad pack or something. I use them with 65lb braid and a telephone pole for a rod with no issues! I flip NASTY, HEAVY FL slop and set the hook HARD on big bass. 8lb+ sometimes, and bully them out with no problems!

Going with a guide
I have been bass fishing for over 20yrs and consider myself a good angler. Even so, there is always room to learn new things from guides. Once a year i will schedule a guided trip in a new place, forget everything i know and just let the guide, well, guide me! This year i am debating between Lake Okeechobee or Miami(born and raised) for some Peacock action! BEST OF LUCK

Frog hooks????
THANKS MAN! The reviews on the Gamakatsu frog hook stated that it didn't fit the Spro Bronze eye frogs? Any idea where i can get the Owner in 3/0 for the Spro popping frog(comes with 3/0)? Or will the 4/0 fit it also?

Frog hooks????
I am in need of some replacement hooks for my hollow bodied frogs. I have read bad reviews on just about all the hooks i found available. The Gamakatsu, Gambler and Tru Tungsten are all i found. Buyers stated that they do not fit the Spro frogs. I will be using them on Spro Bronze Eye frogs and Spro popper frogs. I might even try them on Rage Tail toads. Any help is appreciated.

They're all gonna laugh at you!!
I have to respectfully disagree with you. I know people that don't make alot of money so they fish to help feed the family after work. I personally have no problem of keeping a few for the plate or giving a person a fish that needs it. In some ponds that has an over populated system, taking a few fish for the plate can be benificial to the whole system. A few small ones here and there yes! I will occasionally keep 1-2 super dinks for my mom who like eating them(very rare). He stated that it was a 3lb fish he gave away! IMO, By NO means is keeping a fish that size helpful to anything! Just my personal opinion, that is all!
