  1. Well i have never gotten sick from kissing them either but now i am wondering! I don't want any foreign parasites swimming around in my belly!
  2. All rods with split grips over 7' will be tip heavy to a point! As for more sensitive, i don't think so! Powells are stronger and have stiffer tips for same action comparisons(i like that). Better guides yes, stylisg, not to me. Worth $100-170 more, NO WAY!
  3. Not bad man, not bad at all! I got a Falcon Cara T7 w/Revo STX and $200 in gift cards to BPS. Maybe my wife and family do love me after all, LOL! CONGRATS
  4. I found it to be very useful at the bottom of a trash can! Do yourself a favor and get the Spro BBZ-1 4" shad. It's amazing bro!
  5. Well its final, no more making out with the fat girls! Don't know if its coincidence or not but my bro just told me he has a MAJOR case of the loose poo after fishing yesterday! He landed a 9lber and made out with it! I love this site!!!!
  6. ALL YEAR LONG HERE IN THE EFF ELL!!!!!!!! ;D
  7. I have heard many stories about why they are delaying. They must be one hell of a hook i guess!
  8. I tried painting mine with a Sharpie once and it didn't go so well! Plus, i think the smell of paints could repel the fish or cause it to not hold on long enough to detect the bite. And even pollute the waters you fish. Painted weights are relatively cheap and come in popular colors so i would just do that. I don't think it matters anyways, maybe in ultra clear water. Or you can use this stuff from BPS. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_90051_100011001_100000000_100011000?cmCat=CROSSSELL_SEARCH
  9. Although i doubt it will damage the rod i never leave mine in any kind of heat. I mean, we carry the rods/reels on the deck of our boats for 10-12hrs per fishing trip don't we!?! I know it will damage/weaken line though!
  10. Sounds like a plan bro! LMK
  11. The only Dobyns i own is a 705 for T-rigs but i own several falcons. I would take the Falcon rods any day! The new Caras are absolutely amazing! Sensitive, strong, extremely light and very stylish. The Dobyns is a good rod but it just didnt do it for me. I prefer Powell rods. Same benefits but WAAAAY less! I get the Falcons at a discount though!
  12. Yup, me too! You can always "think outside the box" and throw crazy colors that are not suppose to work in certain water colors. Just to show them something new ya know.
  13. Does the bead being red make it more weedless or what!?! ;D
  14. Buy new ones and sale me all your EWGs(i have no issues with them)! If they are Gamakatsu of course!
  15. If all else fails, get another in the same size, shape etc and have it custom painted by a lure maker! I know a few on Ebay do a great job pretty cheap. BEST OF LUCK
  16. I think Avid hit it right on the head! Forget all the books, shows, etc etc! Try new things in new places. A fish is a wild animal and it does not have to abide by what a book or tv show says it has to be doing at a certain time of year! BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!
  17. So who is doing the replica mount? LOL, I couldn't help myself man! CONGRATS TO THE OL' LADY!!!!!!!!
  18. If you actually want to catch fish they are! The strength and sharpness of a hook are essential in hooking and landing fish(especially big ones). To a point though(not $12 for a 5 pack)! With that said, i buy the big 25 value packs of Gamakatsu EWG hooks for $12 on Ebay.
  19. GOOD POST CHRIS! I always find HUGE balls of it at the dock and on the lake! I also find big black trash bags and line all tangled up in pads and grass! Its a DAM shame IMO!
  20. Don't know, might never know! I have been looking for them all this year!
  21. WELCOME and keep on representing for the Eff Ell man!!!

  23. Hey, you don't want none of FL!!! ;D I use mostly Booyah and Strike King but have heard nothing but good things about those lures!
