  1. He may never return.................................................
  2. Keep your head up high man, tackle can be replaced time and again. Be thankful you do NOT have to stoop to their level to live. If they are that petty than you should feel sorry for them.
  3. Reaction baits do it for me(lipless cranks, burning spinnerbaits, even power punching cover)
  4. I NEVER give up...................................and i aint too bad with a flippin' stick either.
  5. I thought so too, until I saw that he goes both ways... and to think- I roomed with him at Fork! just kidding around ;D ;D :-X
  6. Hand poured for jigs and hook for spinners.
  7. Hey can i get in on that deal, LOL!!!!!
  8. -1 ;D OK, never mind, make that 3 reels!
  9. I lived in NC for some years and there is definitely no LMB there! Especially not 8lbers that like Fire Tiger Rat-L-Traps! Nope, no way......................................... :-X
  10. I have a friend selling 4 NEW STXs for $100 + shipping! I use an STX 7:1:1 for frogs and love it. I would say get the HS version of whatever reel you want.
  11. Everything that isn't a 10" worm and a flippin' stick, LOL!!! Cranks and spinnerbaits are my biggest dust collectors!
  12. Or get a more accurate one!
  13. I did not know dinks existed there! LOL, nothing like fishing time with your bro man!
  14. A hollow frog is nothing like a buzz bait or a lizard. It is a bait that can be kept stationary to further tempt the bass into striking. A very good choice around cover IMO. Make the frog walk with long pauses in between. I would try to keep it simple as well. Try a T-rigged ribbon tail worm worked dead slow. Also, throw a Rat-L-Trap tight to cover for some reaction strikes.
  15. That comes off in a few casts and than your are left with pure perfection................................................
  16. Back when i was a teen and not as deep into bassin' i used EC exclusively! I never had a major issue with them except for rusting in boxes. I now use Gamakatsu but will be switching to all Owner soon.
  17. On the lakes i am still finding them on the deeper weedlines. On the ponds i am like you. The last 5 outings with my daughter have been one big S K U N K!!!
  18. I tried a couple that a buddy of mine had and loved them! So much that i just ordered a bunch from TW!
  19. I used the LTAs and they are great rods! But i also here many great reviews about the Castaways.
  20. Koopa is right, but i already sold it! I would suggest for flip/pitch you go with a well balanced 7' 6" rod. Much better leverage and hook setting power IMO. If you must have a 7' rod i would strongly suggest the Powell 705C on sale right now from TW for $118! The strength and sensitivity of the Powell rods is hard to beat at that price!
  21. I use a lot of the Strike King Series 4S and love them! They go through wood, grass etc pretty good. The wobble and bigger profile on them is why i use them. The Chartreuse/black and shad patterns are my favorites!
  22. I would replace the whole part because i am picky, LOL! But the super glue idea will work as well.
