Not sure what to think of the Michigan win but for as low as MI has been it beats a loss My guess is it's going to be a very long regular season and a very short bowl season for the big ten.

Asian carp are a huge problem. I work 5 mins from the IL river. These fish can get to 5,10, 20lbs maybe more. They have created a big problem for jet skiers and boaters quite a few who have been hit while running and have gotten broken eyesockets, jaws you name it. One guy got knocked off recently and his jet ski started to sink. Water rescue had to be called to pluck himout of the river.

I was kind of surprised to see this. I'm not a news junky but when my wife and I would watch him we always said we liked his style. He always came accross as genuine and seemed lke an all around good guy / class act. I didn't find any mention on what he wants to in his retirement. Has anyone else?

Well I was able to get it done. I used kind of some suggestions from the link that Glen provided as well as another link that I found. I feel a lot better about being prepared for virus removal but I've still got some work to do. PS. After I was all done Microsoft said IE explorer 8 was out so I figured what the heck maybe time to do it. I downloaded it and my Internet wouldn't work. I tried un-installing it and IE 7 didn't work. I tried the usual cable modem and router re-boots and still no go. Finally I downloaded Firefox and it worked. I double checked and at that point IE began to work also. Almost like IE was worried about losing its place to Firefox lol. All is well now

I never have understood the fascination of " got to have it crazy hot" phenomena. Obviously there must be a market or so many placces wouldn't exist. I have no idea where it came from as it presently taken over my system.I shut off the computer till I get a chance to dig in to it. It seemed to appear out of nowhere over night. Perhaps it was a late night older kids activity? I run AVG free all the time and have it scan nightly but every once in a while it "loses connectivity with its server" whatever that really means. I noticed it recently had again.

I hadn't gotten around to researching it yet. Thanks Glen for saving me some time and probably a better link than what I would have found. When I get the time I will give that a try. Maybe I will learn more about cleaning viruses in general.

BPS a problem but Wallyworld = less frustration? I couldn't disagree more. Go cheap on a BC and forget it you can guarantee frustration with a baitcaster. At which point you will not find out anything and give them up. An Extreme might be the way to go. I think I saw they are on sale again the other day new for $59. I see they are not now but frequently are. Or check E-bay for a better deal but make sure the model is relatively current not 5 years ago. Another option is a last year's model Shimano Citica. It changed my outlook on BC all by itself. They can be had used for probably $40 - $60; do your E-bay homework of course. Once you get the reel then buy a rod maybe a lower end Shimano to get you bye if you can afford it. If you need cheaper then buy what you can find and upgrade later. I've used a Shakesphere Excursion rod for $15 from Wallyworld and it seems ok for the $.

In the past I would have just said Shakesphere = junk. I did see one that seemed to be almost a clone of the pflueger Medialist ( one step up from the Pres ). I did not use the reel just looked at it in the store. Based on Rooster's post I'd have to lean toward staying away from Shakesphere.

Watch out this is a tough one my pc got nailed ( I'm currently using my work laptop from home). We seemed to get it overnight but who knows. It is a rough one it is so prolific it locks you out of doing anything. Bad part is I have e-mail addresses and pictures that are not backed up. The boss ( wife kind ) isn't going to like that part! It might be a while before I get it solved.

Ya I kind of thought the same thing. I was like why would you tell him that? Same thing about the bail what gives with that? If the guy needed money for a bus how could he come up with bail? The area where this happened is fairly upscale and nothing criminal ever happens. I can almost see the parking lot from my office through an open field. The police station mentioned is maybe 50' from where my truck is parked everyday. Screw the guy he's an idiot. You did everything in your power to resolve the situation w/o Paypal and in a classy manor. The guy acted like a clown and lied to you as well. I wonder why someone who sold so many items decided to up and change his ebay name? Give it 30days If he wants the reel he can ask for it and can send the return shipping else tell him to buzz off. After 30days if no response do some research and find a deserving underpriveledged kid and give it to him or her. If you want to couple it with a rod I'll send $20 towards one or I will send a rod that I no longer use. You owe the clown nothing if he can't take the time to do proper busines forget him. True story... Our oldest daughter was vacationing in Las Vegas a week or so ago. She was poolside @ Mandolay Bay ( sp?). She ordered a sandwich for lunch. When it arrived it was huge, bigger than about any sandwich she'd ever seen. A family close by also ordered sandwiches. When their's arrived their little boy said "what's up with the huge portions?" His mother in an obvious European accent says... " it's because we are in America" Unfortunately it is a little too accurate re America.
