  1. Wonder if it’s going to have aquariums and all that, some of theses places are pretty elaborate.
  2. I didn’t know they had an actual store…. With a structure. I have always thought they were just an on-line store.
  3. And if you can’t find entrails, Berkeley , Big game- 12lb. You can get it at Walmart and inexpensive.
  4. Got it…. Kinda figured that, but wanted to check … So .75mm-1.mm will cover spinners and baitcasters, or most of them.
  5. @MN Fisher where are you finding the specs for the drag washers? Do you just mic the ones out of the reel?
  6. My thought and condolences to everyone
  7. Good deal
  8. Thank again @Glenn I was on a lake in Tennessee after they had a big let down, water was way low anticipating a big thaw. I found a cove with a huge cliff, maybe 500 hundred feet long that was normally submerged. Took some pics, made mental notes. Came back in the spring, guess I wasn’t the only that saw it, three other boats were there. We all caught fish, letting it bounce on bottom until you saw your line going deep where it fell off the cliff. I guess with today’s electronics you’d see that.
  9. I’m a dollar Walmart spinner and buzz bait buyer too…. I buy different ones, change blades, add beads, etc…. I don’t cry too hard when I loose one ether.
  10. I glad everyone is ok, I have a lot of cleaning to do for the next few days
  11. Congratulations on you PB! Exciting catch too, thanks for sharing.
  12. @N Florida Mike, @Koz, @Mike L, @flatcreek, and @Glenn Plus anyone else that out there in the storm’s aftermath. How is everyone doing this morning, hope all is well. Wow @Susky River Rat you’re feeling the wrath of Helene too. That storm was HUGE!
  13. Hang in there @N Florida Mike. Computer say we are getting gust up too 50 here but I think it’s a lot less than that. Do you have high water there? We’ve had water way up in the yard for about two weeks.
  14. You stay safe too @Mike L
  15. How ya doing @Koz looks like you’re getting a lot of rain. and how you @Mike L, you getting any winds yet
  16. My trailer tires age out before they wear out. My boat stays on the water, so my trailer sits empty 99% of the time. I put tire boots over them so it keeps as much sun off them as I can, but they still seem to rot out. Not using them seems to be worse than using them. It seems even if they look good after they get so old, they just give up the ghost. So like @DaubsNU1 suggested, I just replace them when they old, or make ya feel in easy. What I don’t like is I have 5 trailers, two are dual axels.
  17. I think beavers are a good thing, they produce cover and habitat. Now I do think bass move away from the lodges doing construction of it, ( too much activity)but move around it when most of the building is done. I’ve caught a lot of fish around them. I will say fishing around them are snag city, WOW!…. You can loose some gear around them. I fish them with Texas rigged plastics around them anymore, plus I don’t like the thought of leavening treble hooks down there for them to get snagged on. I know, an over thought, but still……
  18. Hi from the Sunshine State of Florida.
  19. Hunker down @Koz and stay safe. Im ready as we can be, I guess. Been getting rain, and a little windy, expecting more tomorrow. I agree with @Mike L panhandle looks it going to take full brunt.
  20. I mostly fish alone, I have friends that fish too, but have their own boats, we fish different areas and different species. When we do go at the same time, we meet at the sandwich shop and have a snack and something to drink. We what we caught and what on, that kinda thing. I meet the neighbor a few properties down, a pan fisherman. He stopped by asking about bass fishing, wanted me to help him catch some bass. Told him I’d take him out and at least he could learn from me what not to do.
  21. Bone…or maybe chrome black back. Wait, wait….. clear, no, baby bass…. Yea, yea…. Black, or even a Shad color….. really blue-chrome…..give me a minute, I’ll get it. Might be why I have so many.
  22. I’ll send ya some good mojo your way. In my thoughts g
