Gotta say, last night's loss really hurts. Close to the loss to the NYG's in the first of 4 in a row SB losses. A friend told me his former NFL buddy said the kick off instead of a squib was probably the right/safest choice against a very dangerous Chiefs. I think a pooch kick would have been good, but they could have burned us with a run back. Either way, incredible game, heartbreaker that the D couldn't defend for the only 13 seconds they needed to to seal the W. For a life-long Bill's fan, that hurts. I really thought we were SB bound only to be gut-punched by our own inept D play.

GO BILLS!! Heck of a game by the Bengals. INTs mattered more than sacks, go figure.

No fishing for me. Too darn cold Snowfall of 2 1/2" here in Yorktown. Current temp of 26 with "feel" of 17. Cozy inside sipping coffee, talking with wife, watching tennis. Can't wait for playoffs this afternoon.

Personally, I think Cowboys fans are the most insufferable fanatics on planet earth.

I've been staying away from this thread given our wild ride this season. Resisting the urge to talk smack. But the hope has always been there, and they are rising at the right time. Colts and Chargers elimination was surprising, proof more of "any given day" in the NFL. Here's looking to Saturday and beating the Pats one more time.

A friend of mine, pilot, was stuck for the duration coming home from DC. Also, one of my sons was heading up (day after) to Phila to catch a flight with his girlfriend down to Florida...He took I95 but got off at 301 since 95 N and S were still at the stand-still, and when 301 and 17 intersected is when he got stuck because 301 shut down at that point. Fortunately, he was able to turn around after about 2 hours and get back on 17 to return home. Had to get another flight out of Richmond. I95 from DC south (or Richmond north) can be a nightmare no matter what time you drive it. Back in the 90s a nephew and I were stuck for 2 hours on I95 south around 10pm - 12am. Crap shoot of a highway system.

Been there and done that, most recent one was several months ago. Worst one, too. Wife ended up taking me to the ER (or ED as it is now called), and when they had me pee before going to a room, I passed it. Even still, it was excruciating, and the cocktail of stuff they gave me made me cry in joy at the relief of the pain. I don't wish it on anyone. Horrific experience. 2x in my life. And for the record, I drink a lot of water....
