How often do you spin vs baitcast?
100% spinning. At 71 yrs. old, I do not have time to mess with backlashes.

Launching and Retrieving
Learn with mirrors. Someday a friend with a van will ask you to back him in. I used to turn around then I got determined to back up with mirrors. The only way you will get comfortable with it is to just do it.

Stradic ci4 1000 and braid
I have a new Stradic ci4 1000 coming and my guestion is. I want to try braid for the first time on this reel. Because of the small diameter of the spool, how do you attach the braid to the spool? Line backing, tape, straight tie, ??????.

Filling holes in plastic
Go to your local hardware store and get a few rubber plugs. They come in small, like 1/8" diameter and get larger. You can get them in flat tops and round tops. I used a couple on my glass boat on top of the console, and the black just bended in. Better than looking at a hole.

2017 Harrisburg outdoor show
I agree. My son of 10 years old then, (47 now) was impressed with an ice chest that had 4 dead salmon on ice. He called them "woppers", and still remembers that day. An outfitter had this sitting in front of his booth. Memories are forever.

Do I need a dedicated battery for a new 25 hp Yamaha tiller electric start?
I never gave a thought to the motor being 12 volt, hooking up to two batteries in series going to a 24 volt TM. Interesting. Thanks for your thoughts.

Do I need a dedicated battery for a new 25 hp Yamaha tiller electric start?
I have a Bass Pro Shops "Grizzly" 16' aluminum boat. I want to put a new 25 hp Yamaha tiller, electric start on the back. At this time I have two group 24 battery's hooked up in the rear of my boat to supply my 24 volt bow mount trolling motor. The only thing I have on these battery's in addition to my trolling motor are two "cheap" depth finders. I really do not want to add the weight of another battery in my boat if I do not have to. So my question is can I hook this motor directly to one side of my trolling motor battery set-up? Thanks for your help.
