  3. I have been using an old 13 footer for the last 10 years. Rides low in the water, easy to handle by yourself, and flies with a 45lb thrust trolling motor. I have a small trailer i built myself just for hauling this boat.

  5. A light colored baitfish fleeing.
  6. Laptop Clothes $100 worth of BPS cards Some cash.
  7. I use 15 and 17lb P-line Premium CXX. Cant beat it for the price. Plus its flourocarbon coated so it disappears in the water.
  8. Using a tungsten weight also helps detect light bites. I use a 6'10 heavy action/extra fast tip Team Allstar rod. Junebug, green pumpkin, and black are my best colors. Depending on time of year, I use trick worms, babybrush hogs, senkos, and if needed during summer really small u-tails. I also dip my worms in Smelly Jelly when i am C-rigging. Seems to make the fish hold on longer.
  9. Why dont you go fish the lake and let the fish tell you what you want to know.

  11. Captain, Mine is the Woo Daves rod too. Only I bought mine off a buddy, and have about $25 invested in it. ;D
  12. I fish them on both casting and spinning rigs. In heavy cover i like a 6'6 MH spinning rod with 12 lb P-line premium with great success. Other times I use a 6'6 medium action casting rod w/ 10lb test.
  13. I use 6'6 medium action BPS extreme casting rod for dropshotting. Its light and sensitive, plus i can use it for other techniques.
  14. You better go ahead and order the rod and reel. Sale only lasts through 12-31...Went to BPS an hour away last night, no sales at the store on any fishing stuff except tackle bags.
  15. I use Team Daiwa Advantage 150p's for cranking and the are great. Cant beat this reel for the $..

  20. My lab gets bored in the boat and gives me the look too much ;D I think she likes it though, unless its really hot. Summer time is too hot for a dog in a boat.
  21. Fished same lake, different creek tues. 4 on drop shot, one on SB........bigger fish still hitting certain color worm, certain way on dropshot.
  22. Hmmm, a pattern you say? ;D This pattern wouldnt have done me any good in a tournament, reasons I am trying to figure out something else.
  23. The last 2 days I fished the 19000 acre lake near my house(GA).I covered alot of water and tried alot of different things. The only thing I found would work was dropshotting stumps, rock and riprap on sharp dropoffs in 4-8ft of water.Dropshotting is about my least fav. technique. Water temps were between 52-58 degrees. What else yall think may have worked? Any tips for these situations? Just want a different view.
  24. Norman fatboy, T-rigged worm or baby brushhog, 1/4oz Shakey head.
  25. I'm hoping I can find some. Will be great around docks and heavy cover.
