What Bait Do You Have The Most Faith In?
I don't think there is just 1 bait I have more confidence over the others, but I do have 1 that is a flat out bird dog lure. Whenever I have a tough time locating fish, I can count on this to find em. It won't get you the biggest one in the playground, but it will tell you where they are.

Beauties for sure...Congrats!- Started the new year with an absolute giant.
Sahweet!!- Here's Some Motivation For 2016
You got one up on me, I haven't scored on a chatter type bait yet and pretty much gave up on em. Thanks for the reminder and inspiration. Good luck in '16!- Eastern Ma & New England Area Fishing Reports
Don't forget, new year new license.- I've hit rock bottom...
Hit the gym instead and workout the depression instead of consuming a beverage that makes you more depressed. You'll feel much better about yourself and in the end will look better. In time you'll upgrade from the one who quit on you.- Your 2015 in Review - Goals for 2016
You can have some more....LOL...I'm done! My life is done for a while. My 15 y/o daughter is having her friends over for the New Year and I'm banging on the computer talking about fishing...how bad is that!- Your 2015 in Review - Goals for 2016
Kinda had the same type of year you had, it just lasted 2 years. I coached my son's little league team and tthe beginning of the season starts at the end of March until the end of June. Next thing you know it, I'm catching up with work (work) and work around the house and the next thing you know it, it's fall. I can honestly say it was a blast coaching the kids. On track to do it for 2 more years. I miss fishing, but my son's LL years are 2 years coming to a close and I remember as a kid, LL was the best years of my life and I hope he enjoys them as much as I did. It would be a bonus and honor to share those times with him.- Your 2015 in Review - Goals for 2016
14 and 15 were the worst years for me. All I did was work and maybe got out fishing 20 times in the 2 years. 2016, I'm playing for keeps, I'm fishing more, working on my health and making sure I have time for my kids. I'm not selling out like I did. It's not worth that kind of sacrifice.- Match the hatch... Or off the wall
I can see why you like this...it should have an "R" rating!- Best Lipless Crankbait
Kinda like you, I fished a certain lipless bait for a while and then switched brands...and switched brands...and switched brands...until I got my confidence bait. The confidence bait got fished a lot and then I was paying attention to HOW I CAUGHT THE FISH. I started taking notice how I was fishing it and then my confidence bait was spreading to different brands and they became my confidence baits. Here's the panic box lipless crank: A Janns Netcraft, build your own lipless crank with death trap hooks acquired and assembled in 2012.- Rapala BX
Just 3? You better make that prescription refillable...LMAO! Happy New Year!- spinnerbaits
Check out MegaStrike and Siebert Outdoors. Both links are to the right of this page. Why not help the peeps who are helping us out right now? I'm a StrikeBack kind of a guy. While you're there, pick up a half dozen or so Cavitron Buzzbaits!- Rapala BX
Awesome how that works out! You caught me surfing for one...BTW, my wife isn't liking you now, she knows the bait monkey is gettn a lil somthn somthn....- Rapala BX
Ahh, crap! Now I'm gonna have to get some now... Sahweeet!- Match the hatch... Or off the wall
I try to concentrate on what my lure is doing, location and depth would be first, second and third in no particular order and finally color selection would be the last thing I try and dial in.- Out of my element
Just to add 1 more thing Raider. Jumping from a construction site to an end user facility is a bigger adjustment than you think. I jump from a field Superintendent to the office as a Project Manager/Estimator on a regular basis and it still takes me time to "settle in". Instead of starting at 5:30 and out at 2-2:30, my day starts 2 hours later and ends at 5:00 pm. I've never gotten used to the "structured" climate of an office. The field has a totally different structure, but you do enjoy more freedom out there. You will be surrounded by peeps who are not building constructors so the conversations are a lot different as well. Just wanted you to carefully consider this move. It sounds like less wear and tear on the body and overall would be better for your health in the long run. I'll be 50 this summer and have been experiencing problems in my knee. Doc says a little old age and more wear and tear from the job. I've been really taking serious steps these past few years of not so much trying to beat mother nature, but trying to keep up. Being young and in construction was a lot more fun than being older and seeing what it does to your body. Just be prepared for a change in work life style. Consider the position wisely. John- Thank you!
That's what it's all about.- Round 2: Flooding
My fingers are crossed for you guys out there!- Out of my element
Ya don't have to lose the beard, just trim and clean it up. Wear long sleeves and cover the ink but be up front about it. Ask them if the ink will offend anyone. Don't go in looking like you fell in a tackle box, take off the hardware if you have any poercings that is. Finally, take a shower and use soap, don't take a dip in the detention pond out back.- saving money on crankbaits
Yep, even lost an eye on it...LOL...I pretty much fish the $H1t out of this one! My best producing trap bait.- Road To The Super Bowl!
Chip is out - I finally get to fish again this year
