  1. These are pretty clean to use. they do take on gel like scent well. That's about as messy as I want to get
  2. The product doesn't say but they feel like your everyday plastic lure. They are reinforced with some type of mesh. They have jig strips I use for saltwater. 1 actually lasted the season. I did lose another but I lost the lure. They just don't get torn up. If you remember pork frogs, you remember how hard it was to take them off. These are exactly the same way. And they don't dehydrate like pork
  3. I probably should have read all the replies and would have figured out that you had wetlands but sometimes the elevator gets stuck between floors. Oh well, we had a good morning laugh
  4. Ahh...Well that idea was as helpful as a pocket on the back of a t-shirt @Swamp Girl
  5. HAHAHA You may have to delete this post. Hopefully they don't try and change the Budweiser name. Don't want to offend anyone. Besides Guardians Lager just doesn't work here
  6. You could moor it for the season and take a canoe/kayak to get on it I have an inflatable to row out to it.
  7. Me as well. I'll give the new wrap product time in the market before I try it. Rods take time to build and repair for that matter.
  8. @N Florida Mike, a beauty for sure!

Hard to post here, I lost too many family members to it. I can only send good thoughts your way
  10. I wound up having a couple of miller lites and called it a day. @BigAngus752 I’ve never had Landshark, in fact I don’t think I’ve ever heard of it until you posted. I do like lighter (filling) beers in the summer and fall. I’ll put that on my list to try. Thanks for posting that
  11. I think you jinxed me....I went to work the other day and I had 15 lbs of air in my left front tire. I'm supposed to have 37 lbs...anyone ever tell you that you're a curse!
  12. What should we have tonight?
  13. Wow, never heard of them. I pretty much stick to Janns Netcraft, Barlows and Amazon. I've grown weary of buying from new online stores. Usually try buy from the "tried & true" online outlets
  14. I used baitcasting for tubes and mostly t-rigged them. Had pretty good luck with them until I started using Strike King coffee tubes. Then it didn't matter, I practiced casting baitcaster and a spinning rigs with no luck. It was so bad that the tube would eventually tear up and fly away from the endless casting. If bass only knew how good coffee tastes....HMMM
  15. Just following @12poundbass's lead I fell asleep at the half TBH
  16. I feel like split grip had a similar track record. They came in - I like to say early 00’s - left then came back a few years later. Not sure tho, I really can’t remember
  17. My preference as well. I do have EVA full grip, EVA split grip, full cork and split cork. I prefer split cork. A full cork grip I made into a split grip years ago: I still love this rod ... Needs a little cleaning tho
  18. So true 12pound. I missed all of August helping my daughter out. All for a worthy purpose tho. I have to be there for family either way
  19. You could go acid base like vinegar then rinse with fresh water. Or DI water like @WRB-2.0 mentions. I have no clue if DI water works but, d**n, it sounds legit…
  20. I like you better as Katie and not Frank
  21. I don't think I broke a guide insert/ring as much as lost due to poor seating in the guide frame itself. Not sure if it was a manufacturing process or not but I've had my share of winter projects replacing them.
