My first BFS casting rod Kuying Super Lite Ajing 7'6" Used with Daiwa T3 RoroX spool 8# X5 line and 1/32jig with Keitech 2.5" swing impact. I think around 3 grams or so total lure weight. Lots of fun with this today. first fish first catfish, rod handled it well.

Have Victory 7'10" ML/XF Crosshair great rod so far. Catching monsters, monsters I say.

No great review from me just no love for the 2 duds I had/have. The Tour S3 sent back Smoke S3 is in its box most likely wont get used again.

Stay away from Merrell Moabs they might say waterproof but my feet still get wet. Plus they lack traction on any surface but dry rocks.

I think I do have at least 15 different ned rig baits. I made a purchase on TW getting one package of each ned bait listed, that interested me.

Im going to cheat here cause full msrp retail wise wont make the cut. I got lucky bought Curado 50E new on sale for $99 and pair that with Quantum Smoke rod also on sale for $99.

Id say 95% of my outings are soft plastics only. Ill time to time throw rocket shad spinner baits. During trout season in-line spinners. I have crankbaits that I keep buying only to never use. Jerkbaits that maybe get used 30 minutes a year. I packed my bag for my yearly trip to my "secret" lake no hard baits just soft plastics. Ikas, senkos, 4 types of neds, 3 types paddle tails, gulp minnows.

Not too sure for "all" reels. A very light spool might give up strength so a set-up for frogs and 60# line might have issues. Some light spools are said to not be able to use mono/fc line cause the line will swell tighten on the spool and maybe deform it. The roro x spool I bought recently is lure rated .5-12 grams a little under 7/16 max. posted by JohnG tackletour from hedgehog studios. The last few sentences its mentioned.

OK I got full spool weight of RORO X X5 200 feet 8.223 grams I also just today loaded the SV105 that has SDS customs/RAYS Studio with the rest of the X5 8# line and 305feet fit on that spool. Spool has capacity of #1.0 @ 100m

Ok so I got some 8 pound Berkley X5 for the Titanium RORO X. The X5 box states .004in .10mm Rated line capacity for the Ti RORO X is #0.8---80m I was able to just squeeze a measured 200 feet on the spool with the spool still able to be pulled out of reel and go back in. Ill take full spool to work and get the weight.

If you are a noob you will want a bait caster that will brake.

I think blank, balance, overall weight and power/action play more of a roll than the length for feeling the bite. My longer rods 7'6"-8' the fish feels heavier & more fight in the fish than with shorter rods if that makes sense.

LTB now has a 7'10" ml/xf rod Victory line too the crosshair 7'10" ml/xf I have this rod its seems very nice so far. One thing though a longer rod has less leverage not more.

Just use fishnfool knot its a stronger knot for braid use and easier to tie.

Id skip the LTB and go/save for Elite.

Poison adrena is made in china. I have both nrx (893c) and poison adrena (6'7" ml spinning) they are way different rods but prefer the adrena. Wouldnt buy another nrx but looking to buy another adrena.

I have curado 70 with measured 200 feet of 16# sniper fc its rated at .33mm

Got me a couple shallow spools to try. One for my SV105 Rays studio and another for T3 Roro X. Havent decided what line to put on them yet.
