Why?
Had not ever noticed it was locked, and it's the only one that is locked. A lot of threads are added to the first post, but I'm not sure why that one is locked.

Any luck with flukes/super fluke?
Way more boring than a Ned rig.

Why?
No, not at all. The point and attempt is to keep questions and discussions about really popular topics like the Senko in the same thread to make finding it easier so folks can find the answers to their questions and share their experiences all in the same place.

In search of magnum shaky heads
I don't pour them, but they make a nice mold with that style keeper for shakyheads. I like the screwlocks, and actually use the centering pin style on these now. I've got them in a standup football and a brush jig style head in up to 1oz with a 7/0 hook. I like putting big straight tail worms or creature baits on them.

Chatterbait - tips need to bend the blade
It changes the vibration, the running depth, and the action of the bait. The sharper the bend the shallower the bait will tend to run. The further back the bend, the slower the vibration. If the bend isn't straight it will make the bait want to kick out or "hunt", so an angled bend isn't a bad thing. Bending the blade seems to give them a more consistent vibration while the flat blade does a lot more hunting and darting. The bent blade gives more thump and gets the bigger bites for me.

Blue's project boat
Got the bunks installed. Trailer is done. Power washed the inside of the boat out to get it ready to start the fun stuff.

Post a photo a day!
Some duck hunter had a bad day, found them all floating around different parts of the lake but duck season has been closed for awhile now.

Couldn't stay away from these guys Monday. When the lips are as thick as a TRD you know it's a quality drum!

How old?
I started taking my boy when he was 2, but last year when he was 3 he was probably more ready. I'd say it varies a lot by the child most likely. The old bobber and nightcrawler is probably the most surefire way to get them into some action. I make mine fish a wacky rig and he does just fine.

Any luck with flukes/super fluke?
I've had good luck with them, but I hate fishing them, it's so boring.

Not Quite 6
I've fished Smithville twice, never had anything I could 100% confirm was a bite. Last time I fished it was in a tournament. I tied for second with the 28 other guys that didn't catch a fish. 1 guy out of 30 brought in a bass that was just shy of 8 pounds, only fish caught that day. Great fish on a tough lake!

Guess the Weight
It looks like a nice fish, but it really is impossible to tell with that camera angle. You can get a cheap luggage scale off Ebay for around $5 and they're surprisingly accurate.

Berkley Hardbaits
I've tried all of them and the only one I haven't liked is the new Juke. The skinny cutter, cutter, warpig, digger, wild thang, bad shad, dredger, and pitbull have all been solid baits. I really like that they're reasonably priced and they come with good hooks.
