Alternatives To Mushroom Jig For Ned Rig?
I did it with a 1/8oz swinging football head with an Owner 2/0 short shank EWG hook, it works.

Crayfish Colors
Our craws tend to start out the year very dark until the water gets into the 50's, then they lighten up to more of a light to medium brown with blue/green mixed in. They're almost black during the winter months though.

Sunline defier ARMILO
I used the 19# for jigs last year and liked it well enough. The only time I ever had an issue was around zebra mussels but I haven't found a line yet that can handle those things.

Hand tied bass jigs
I'll pile on, you're not going to beat the price and quality you get with Siebert's.

How many times have you lost a brand new lure first cast?
Yes it has, several times. I even got it on video last time it happened.

Tow Vehicle
I'd go with the truck for sure. The little bit extra for gas doesn't hurt as bad at that new transmission is going to.

Kayak fishing for bass.
I fish out of a kayak as well as owning a boat. Both have their obvious advantages. I enjoy the simplicity of fishing from a kayak along with the stealth factor of it. I'm positive that I catch fish out of it that wouldn't have bit if I'd been in my bass boat.

- New Mid-Range Swimbait Setup
I used the Extreme you're looking at for swimbaits the first couple years I fished them and it did well enough. I even fished 8" Hudds on it that exceeded the weight range by over an ounce. Lob cast are the key and it did just fine with them.- St croix handles.
I had a seat come lose on a Rage and a LTB, they exchanged it in both cases.- Good spinning reels for the money
I have 4 or 5 Presidents. Can't really see a reason to spend the money on anything more expensive than that now unless I want something really lightweight. I've mainly put them on H2O rods and end up with a combo for just over $100.- If I could get sponsors that would be awsome!

I've had very good luck with Vicious in 12lb for finesse jigs, above that I'd go with Red Label.- ElaZtech
