  1. Some guys brag about 10-pounders, I brag about 10-foot backlash tangles. Step up if you think you can hang — I’m the undisputed backlash champ until proven otherwise
  2. 👉 I’ve been running Yo-Zuri Hybrid in 6lb because the breaking strength is solid. It’s known to be a bit thicker—more like the diameter of an 8lb line.
  3. Stop drinking Starbucks for a month, skip a meal or two, and cancel that date night with your wife. 1Just look her in the eyes and say, ‘Make me a sandwich.’ Boom—money saved for better gear.
  4. I do trim it, but man… jigs are my kryptonite. I swear I can’t catch a thing on them. One time in a bass tournament, I lost 8 jigs in a single day because rookie me didn’t know braid would slice like butter on the rocks. 😅 Lesson learned the hard (and expensive) way.
  5. been using crossover rings for wacky rig, had no issues for a long time. This season, I started to use silicone tube which is pretty dart neat. I might try that on Neko with that Geecrack Neko Hacks that you provided, Just saved on my TWH account
  6. BPS older spinning rod, CarbonLite 6'9 MXF , I just feel comfortable with it instead of my St Croix older Mojo jerkbait casting rod with Curado 70XG.
  7. Shimano Core 50MG7 with brass brenious gears 7.7

  9. I throw rattle traps all the time from the shore...I have lost maybe two in a decade. It's not that bad. you just need to feel it and you would know when to speed it up when the line gets closer to you.
  10. Nice... I need to start throwing spinnerbaits.
  11. throw some gold fish flakes and move ...throw some topwater and bam!
  12. "Got you man...or That’s what I’m talkin’ about!"
  13. Grew up in Southern Californian catching Yellow Tails. Moved here and converted to Bass Fishing Love every moment and my 5 year old boy is itching to go with me as he has his own rods.
  14. Just got back into fishing after a few years off—been busy watching my boy grow from a toddler into a 5-year-old. Lately, I’ve been hitting Lake Artemesia in College Park, averaging around 3 to 6 bass per trip. Feels good to be back, even if nothing over 1.5 lbs yet. I know the big ones are still in there—I used to catch them back in the day. Just need to find the right time to kidnap the mama. Also hit up Waterworks Park in Annapolis three times, but only managed to catch one so far that seems to be lucky cuz i threw it at the wood branch that was in the water. Tough spot—no grass, no structure, just kind of bare. Feels like fishing on the moon. Thinking about trying out Cash Lake in Bowie this weekend to mix it up a bit and see what’s biting.
  15. would love to get that, I would need to buy a rod for that ...lol
  16. have this in my cart ...am thinking of getting one for the heck of it
  17. After 15 years of living/fishing at Lake Artemesia (College Park). Just moved to Crofton which I have to start all over again. Does someone have any suggestion to find fishing spots around this area?
  18. It's called Sufix 832 Advanced Superline Ghost but really white braid line line.
  19. You would be better off using this - I just tried this and it works great. https://www.m3outdoors.com/post/diy-wacky-rig-neko-rig-sleeves
  20. Awesome - Looks like I'm gotta make plans to sneak out of the house to fish for couple of hours to "relax" before daddy duty.
  21. For the KO Jerkbait you got - where did you get that?
