  1. My daughter @ the 2011 America's Outdoor Show in Rosemont today:
  2. This is the Cana Island lighthouse in Door County Wisconsin
  3. Thanks Nate! I really like this shot of them.
  4. My two Dachshunds "sunbathing."
  5. I live like 10 minutes from that zoo. It's alright, but the one in Tulsa OK was better. The zoo is not too bad. I have 3 kids and they enjoy going, so we became members. I have not been to many other zoos besides this one so I have nothing to compare it too.
  6. Here goes............................. THE CUBS!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Those look awesome! The colors are great.
  8. I am sure this is pretty common, but I caught a snapping turtle swimming a curly tail grub. I thought I was snagged at the time. I was trying to break my line, but then it starting moving. When I got it closer it was the snapping turtle. He unhooked himself, thank goodness.
  9. I mostly use a side cast with spinning gear. I am still trying to perfect using a baitcaster, so I overhead cast most of the time.
  10. Has anyone tried these? I got a couple for Xmas and I am excited to try them out. I am just wondering if anyone has used them and how well or bad they have worked for you. Thanks for the comments!
  11. I want to improve upon my plastic worm fishing. I am a very impatient person. I need to learn to have patience. That is my goal for this year.
  12. Mine is an easy one. My name is Charles M. Simon II, hence CSimon2.
  13. I keep between 5-7 rods ready to go in the Jeep. When I am actually out fishing, I take only one or two with me. I fish mostly from shore, so I can easily go back to the car and grab more if needed.
  14. Congratulations! I plan on doing the same thing, but have 30 years to go.
  15. Sorry, but I tie directly on the line. If I were to use a snap, I would use ones like the Bass Pro Shops Fast-Lock Bass Snap.

    WOW! ;D
  17. This is not a typical bass fishing technique, but I loathe people who fish with those big huge round red and white bobbers. They throw them out and watch them for hours at a time waiting for a fish to pull them under. I always feel like telling them their bobber is too big and more than likely the fish is going to eat their bait before they even knew the fish was there. I especially don't like it when I see parents teaching their kids to fish with one of those things. The kids will lose interest because they won't detect the bites. The kids will not like to fish because they don't catch anything.
  18. Bass Pro Shops Stik-O worms. They are $4.99 for a 18 pack.
  19. I am with you too Gman. I keep buying new things and am very anxious to use them. Yesterday I told my fishing buddy coworker I was going to go out and cast on top of the ice in hopes that a gigantic largemouth would bust through the ice to grab my lure. I cannot wait for ice out.
  20. R.I.P. Jack!

Ever since I first saw it at the Chicago Auto show as a concept car, the Dodge Viper has always been my dream car. If I ever find $100,000, I am buying myself one of those in blue with white racing stripes.
