  1. Wow congratulations!
  2. I’ve noticed over the years the my scent on the baits seem to matter more in the summer. Not sure if the cold is hiding my scent or the bass just take longer to process the scent because of the cold.
  3. Nice looking bass good job!

Nope. I had time to lean out of the way. My hand was where my head was when the hook got me.
  5. I know a lot of guys with boats that have transom mounted motors. They run them backwards for better control.
  6. I like to stop the boat and just stand still for a couple of minutes looking down at the water to see what is swimming around down there. People always think that I dropped something in the lake.

I’ve been hooked twice in 30 years. Last year it was my own fault for not being careful and the time before that it was either take a hook in the hand or the head.
  8. Zoom speed craws and ultra vibe speed craws.
  9. Zoom fat albert in white or green pumpkin.

  11. 10 lb Big Game for poppers, and torpedoes. 15 lb Big Game for the jitterbugs, buzzbaits, and spooks.
  12. I restocked back in December and January. I'll be good for a while.
  13. Some nice looking fish right there.
  14. A white Lunker Lure 1/2 oz. buzz bait with no trailer.
  15. I still have some Creme 6" scoundrel worms. Grape was always the color I had the best luck with. A Cordell Big-O was the first artificial lure I caught a bass on. I like the 1/4 and 1/3 oz sizes. They don't make the size in my profile pic any longer. Probably a good thing since cranking with it use to tire me out.
  16. 5 lb 4 oz on a senko. Caught it around a coontail mat on the surface.
  17. You've got some nice smallies right there!
  18. This time of year in Missouri Bladed jig Lipless Crankbait Shallow running crankbait Paddle tail swimbait Jig and craw
  19. I get out and enjoy nature when I go fishing in the winter. I don't expect to catch anything, I can slow down and look around. When I go fishing in the warmer weather I want to catch bass.
  20. You're thinking too much. Just go out and fish.
  21. When my kids were old enough and wanted to go fishing I realized right away that these were not going to be regular trips. These trips were going to be outings where we could make memories and just enjoy ourselves.
  22. Green pumpkin, watermelon, junebug, black/blue, and black. That’s pretty much all I use.
  23. I tie with the palomar or the improved clinch knot.
  24. Shad raps, original floating minnow, and x-rap.
  25. Those are some nice ones.
