I don't use spinnerbaits nearly as much as I used to. Last year I only caught one on a spinnerbait, and I had to remind myself to take it out of the box and fish with it. Most of the time I am using a chatterbait.

The whole time watching this I kept thinking What if he had hooked a big shark? There is no way I'm getting out on the ocean in a kayak.

My PB was caught at sunrise on a black jitterbug.

Most of my rods are 6'6". I have a couple that are 7'0", but the shorter rods are easier when your walking through brush.

In the past I've used slug-go's and jerkbaits from Mister Twister, but I can't remember what they were called. Now all I use are flukes.

Every once in a while a person may catch a large trout, but going out and battling the crowds, and cold for a dink isn't my thing. If I want to catch dinks I can go down to the local lake at the park.

The live cams are as close as I'm getting to get to one of those trout parks.

I catch more on spot than I do on redeye shads and rat-l-traps. This time of year my best color is a crawfish in red or orange.

I have several older presidents. They are good reels.

I use to think it was the bait that wasn’t getting bites. Over the past year or so if I can’t get a bite on a t-rig, I will switch over to a weightless rig or a split shot rig.

We use to use a 1/2 oz weight and a large snelled hook. We called it a catfish rig.

Jigs for quality. Just about any bait will work when the dinks are in a feeding frenzy.

How are the winning teams handling the backlash when they win? If the two winning teams are being horses #$@^%, and bragging about their victories, then you need to rework the payouts so their prize is smaller, and other teams have a chance to win something. If the two winning teams are being modest about their victories, then you might want to look at getting more members that can keep up with the winners.

It depends on the type of cover, and how aggressive the bass are biting. Fishing around logs I will work the bait a little and then bring it back in because the bass can see it easier. If I am fishing water willows or coontail I'll bring the bait back more slowly and give it more action so the bass can find it easier.

I'll probably drink about 2 or 3 bottles of beer a year. Usually at a get together with friends or family. Other than that I am dry.
