Post Your Forage
Around here forage includes crawfish, shad, bugs, and anything else a bass can fit into it's mouth.

Listening to music while fishing
I don't now and probably never will. I like to hear what is going on around me.

Anyone using small lipless cranks? When and where?
Most of the time I use the 1/4 ounce size when fishing from the bank or when I'm fishing shallow water. About the only time I use a 1/2 ounce from the bank is when I know the lake and I know what kind of structure and cover I'm fishing around.

If you could only bring one lure to bring fishing with you, What are you bringing?
If I am just going after numbers, I would bring a shad colored crankbait.

First catch of 2017
Caught a bunch of these on a Sassy Shad. Too bad I didn't have a stringer to put them on.

Best Punching Baits
I usually will be using either a beaver type bait, jig or a 4" Stik-O.

Favorite Bladed swim jig and trailer and why
I have been using Z man chatterbaits. I either use a fat albert, fluke, or a Zoom super chunk as a trailer.

The latest sale thread
BPS in STL has Cordell Super Spots on sale in the bargain bin for two bucks a pop. Limit 5. Mostly chrome and crawdad colors. I stopped in on the way from work, and I am going back after dinner.

Chatterbait weight
I like to use 1/2 ounce so that the bait gets down to the bottom quickly. Once it is on the bottom I like to slow roll it along.

How many tries at a new pond before calling it quits
I wouldn't hit the pond several times in a row. I would spread out my visits. Sometimes you'll hit the water when they are on a feeding spree.

If you could only limit yourself to 1 rod, 1 reel, and 3 lures ( soft plastics w/ hooks or other lure ) what would you chose
Weightless super fluke, 6" senko with a 3/8 weight, and a super hog with a 3/8 weight. I'd use them with one of the new St. Croix Mojo rods, and a Curado E.

Ice out lures
I usually start out with a lipless bait, or a bladed jig. If those don't work I break out the sassy shads.

Crankbaits : Chrome & Blue vs. Chrome & Black ?
I don't know why, but the only time I have luck with chrome/blue is when I am fishing with a lipless baits. Chrome/black works for me with crankbaits and topwater baits.

Best way to catch bluegill
Red wigglers or the smallest white rooster tail I have.
