  1. Around here forage includes crawfish, shad, bugs, and anything else a bass can fit into it's mouth.
  2. I don't now and probably never will. I like to hear what is going on around me.
  3. Most of the time I use the 1/4 ounce size when fishing from the bank or when I'm fishing shallow water. About the only time I use a 1/2 ounce from the bank is when I know the lake and I know what kind of structure and cover I'm fishing around.
  4. If I am just going after numbers, I would bring a shad colored crankbait.
  5. Caught a bunch of these on a Sassy Shad. Too bad I didn't have a stringer to put them on.
  6. I usually will be using either a beaver type bait, jig or a 4" Stik-O.
  7. I have been using Z man chatterbaits. I either use a fat albert, fluke, or a Zoom super chunk as a trailer.
  8. I like Zoom Fat Albert grubs. Since I mostly use them as trailers I try to match the color of the bait I am using them with. Usually white, shad, or green.
  9. BPS in STL has Cordell Super Spots on sale in the bargain bin for two bucks a pop. Limit 5. Mostly chrome and crawdad colors. I stopped in on the way from work, and I am going back after dinner.
  10. I like to use 1/2 ounce so that the bait gets down to the bottom quickly. Once it is on the bottom I like to slow roll it along.
  11. That's how it is done! Congrats!
  12. I wouldn't hit the pond several times in a row. I would spread out my visits. Sometimes you'll hit the water when they are on a feeding spree.
  13. 1. Catch as many bass as I did last year 2. Catch bigger bass than last year.
  14. Wow. So sorry for your losses.
  15. Black, junebug, green pumpkin, or blue sapphire.
  16. I mostly use Bandit and Cordell Big-O's to get down to that depth.
  17. Mepp's and Rooster Tail.
  18. This time of year I like to go out in the afternoon. It's usually a bit warmer.
  19. Blues fan right here.
  20. Weightless super fluke, 6" senko with a 3/8 weight, and a super hog with a 3/8 weight. I'd use them with one of the new St. Croix Mojo rods, and a Curado E.
  21. I usually start out with a lipless bait, or a bladed jig. If those don't work I break out the sassy shads.
  22. I don't know why, but the only time I have luck with chrome/blue is when I am fishing with a lipless baits. Chrome/black works for me with crankbaits and topwater baits.
  23. Red wigglers or the smallest white rooster tail I have.
