  1. Wow that is something! A big congrats to you and the Mrs.
  2. The only time I really downsize if I am going after panfish. The little dink bass don't seem to have a problem hitting a 1/2 jig with a big, bulky trailer on it.
  3. I like the Zoom salty chunks in colder weather. A few years ago in late fall I noticed that the bass were hitting the chunks better than the craw trailers. So ever since I use a chunk and drag the jig back in very slowly.
  4. The only articles I have ever read have been from the web.
  5. Sounds like you guys had a real good day!
  6. Those are some numbers you have! Great job!
  7. You have got to have something that makes your store special. I know of one shop in my area that fixes reels, besides selling bait and tackle.
  8. So far my season has been pretty mediocre. With work and family issues I haven't been able to get on the water nearly enough this year. I'm really hoping to rectify this over Thanksgiving.
  9. Jfk

Nope. I was 4 months old.
  10. What I like to do is drop an anchor on each end and let the wind straighen out the boat. After I hit the area pretty good, I pull up the anchors, drift down a bit and then re-anchor the boat. I can really work an area like that.
  11. Good job! That is a nice one!
  12. Did you go back after a bigger one?
  13. Glad the site is back up. Now I have something to do at work that will keep me sane.
  14. That is so true. Good post A-Jay.
  15. As long as there is no ice and I don't have to work, I will be fishing for bass.
  16. You need to watch the line if you are dead sticking. If your bait isn't moving then you aren't going to feel anything. Usually the line will start moving off to the side, tighten up, or start getting a lot of slack in it. When that happens it is time to set the hook.
  17. This year it has been jigs, 3" stik-o, and flukes.
  18. Many years ago I got a treble in my hand. Tried working it backward, and pushing it through, but it wouldn't budge. I decided to get down to the ER before I really messed something up. They numbed me, and pulled the hook out the way it went in. They had to trim a little flesh around the barb, but it came right out.
  19. I worked a double shift and was heading home around midnight. I either dozed off, or was almost dozing, when I drove right past the turn I needed to make to get off of a dead end road. I woke up just in time and did a hard 180. Luckily I didn't hit anything or go off of the road.
  20. Wow! Those are some nice pics.
  21. Naught plus naught is naught.
