Hey lucky your profile says you live in Owensboro, that isn't far from the Clarksville Ind BPS. Instead of ordering through catalog why not just drive to BPS and make sure you get what you want. My rule is if I can't physically see it in person before buying then it's not going to be bought.

I have just learned to deal with the high gas prices and try to make the best of it as bad as it may be there isn't much I can do about it. I wish there was but there isn't :-/ Oh and I heard it was going to be $4 a gal before the forth of july but it didn't happen and there saying on the new in my neck of the woods it will be $4 before thanksgiving. I prefer to fish in the winter myself. I really can't explain why I do, I guess its just the challenge of catching fish when most say there not biteing. Also I don't have to worry about snakes is a plus

Really the only way they bass have to find the bait is sight it's only after seeing it that they will inhale it for a taste and if then it dosen't feel right to them then they spit it out. Also another misconception is that a bass can follow a scent trail through the water. alot of people assume that a bass is like a beagle and can track down it's prey simply by smelling. With all the different currents and other natural scents flowing through the water your scent goes in all directions. If you were fishing a cove for a period of a hour or more then it might help. But bass use there sight more than anything and when a bass catches wind of a certain smell it only puts it on alert for possable prey, not make it track it down as so many beleve

Write letters and send emails and get as many fisherman as you can on board doing the same thing. There is power in numbers. Contact as many public officals as possable and don't relent. Go to the meetings where these things are decided and voice your opinion. Keep going full force until things get changed

The best response I could give is you have experiance the ride. Buy a high end set up and if you don't like the ride the get off at the next stop and sell it you will get your money back.

Wow! I have NEVER heard anyone make a negative comment about a Chronarch, NEVER! Don't get me wrong I like shimano but the chronarch B I had just seemed really noisy for whatever reason. As stated I have a curado 200dhsv and it isn't noisy like the chronarch was. I'm proficiant with a baitcaster and rarley have a backlash but I couldn't tame that reel for some reason. I also had a probem getting my finger to the brakes not much room if I remember correctly. I had the chance at a tackle show to play with a zillion and returned the chronarch for a zillion. It just seemed to be better for me.

I like shimano and Diawa alot, I really like the two zillions I have, I had a chronarch and it wasn't the reel for me. I have a curado and had no problems with it, a great reel. If I had to pick one I guess the zillion would be it.

I don't know about the sunscreen but I would be very carefull using insect repelant while fishing. Bass hate the scent of DEET

You guys might find it interesting that they also dipped a cotton swab in moter oil and the bass bit without spitting it out right away. Kinda cruel if you ask me but it aparrently had no adverse effects. Also Bass despise Deet found in bug repealent. It is an absoulute turn off. So I wouldn't worry to much about manmade oders other that deet.

Raul is right about the politican's no doubt about that. What I find funny is I live near Cincinnati Oh, in northern Ky anyways I'm sure most have heard of the Bengals, it seems to be a almost monthly thing that one of them is being arrested or in court. How people keep supporting criminals buy purchasing there merchindise and tickets to games is beyond me. It's also amazing to me that school districts will spend millions on ball fields, stadiums and basketball courts and are spending millions and wanting more to build more schools yet they pay there teachers crap wages. While on the Cincinnati kick I also should mention that a couple years ago they voted in a sales tax to build two new stadiums yet there schools are falling apart and the other day I heard on the radio that there school district is going to have to lay off teachers due to budget issues. They will vote hell yes on stadiums that cost tax payers millions and millions yet won't vote in a increase is school taxes Screwed up priorites isn't what I would say, more like %@!^ up.

I like him always have, Everyone has good and bad times and some don't handle the bad in ways we think are apropriate but thats life everyone is different. We all make mistakes and do some stupid things at some point and time. Some learn some don't Ike is human just like us. I think that the light pole incident put things in perspective for Ike. Sometimes you have to hit bottom before you can begin to climb back up and Ike done a great job of climbing back up

My advice is save your 40 and keep adding to it and buy a loomis GL2 rod, They start at $120

I'm guessing with alot of CC scams happening it's no wonder smaller busieness are not takeing CC anymore. To be honest I have one and as soon as I pay it off its no more for me, I still like the old fashion way of doing business with Cash, No balance No late fee and No Scammers searching for my CC number.
