Yep the Insanity jig is perfect. I use the Net Bait Paca Craw in Alabama Craw.

Has anyone heard anything about this new line or had a chance to try it?

I have also ventured out and have been trying crank baits for the first time this year and have been having very good success as well.

Single Palomar with 65lbs braid is tough to cinch down and I could not imgaine trying to cinch down the dou ke palomar. Don't think a double palomar is needed. If so pliers to pull it should not hurt the braided line.

I presume you are referring to the HS-273VA? Tackle Tour did not review the HS-273VA they tested the HS-262V and it got great reviews. It is the one I have. Its a nice reel but I like my Gen 3 STX a lot better.

Squirrel tail is an awesome shakey head bait. I also like the Yo-Mama and Yo-Daddy baits The Cane Thumper is a pretty good swim jig trailer also.

To me fishing a worm is so slow and so boring, but it will catch the big finicky bass. It just takes practice and you have to be really paying attention to your line and whats going on. Missed plenty of fish by not paying attention.

The only baits I have that have red hooks are some Cavitron buzz baits. Not much red left on the hook anymore.

I use 10lbs InvizX for my swim jigs and 15lbs AbrazX for jigs and T-Rig style baits. Treat it with KVD L&L as RW stated and you will be fine.

The Lexa spinning reel looks nice and feels nice also. But I wouldnt overlook the Pinnacle Performa XT either. Pinnacle has come along ways. I have one of their Optimus LTE baitcast reels and have been very impressed with it so far.

Flip lock button and then remove the side plate. Hold the red dial and adjust between Free, 1, 2 or 3 by rotating the dial.

I am a jig fisher and I will fish a jig 100% of the day. But lately I tried a couple lipless cranks and square bill cranks and have to say I am pleasantly surprised. Where my swim jig was not catching in and around the grass the lipless was. Where my swim jig didnt produce around some timber the square bill did. So they all have their place and all will produce. So now you have to make the though decision.

I have a Weber gas grill and love it. Gets to tempature fast and holds its tempature and the components used in the grill are just superior to other grills.

That so does not sound like Pure Fishing customer service. I have always had great luck with their customer service. I also have been a Abu Garcia user for ever since that is what my grandpa taught me to fish with as well. But all of these problems you keep hearing about sure makes you leary every time you buy one of their new reels. So far no problems for any of my new Gen 3 revos

NorthStar lists on their web site the approximate number of days. Right now it's between 15 to 18 days.

This whole Revo Gen 3 thing is so bizarre. I have 5 STX reels just got my 5th one Friday night and I fished them all Saturday, Sunday and today and have not had a problem with one of them. Including the newest one which was fished right out of the box, I have read and heard about all the problems. Would be interesting to see if the reels with problems were the same date code or not. But I doubt that would be possible. I just hope my reels keep performing and I really hope Abu Garcia steps up and takes care of these problems.
