Any Coffee Lovers?
I LOVE the stuff! I have been drinking it since I was about 14 years old. Most people told me that it would stunt my growth (I'm now 6'7" : ). So I guess I busted that myth. I only drink it the mornings and limit it to about 2 cups. One morning I drank almost an entire pot (10 "cup" pot), and needless to say I was a little shaky that afternoon. So from then on, I try to drink responsibly. My coffee can't have else in it, just straight black coffee. BTW I prefer Folgers.

Zorinsky Lake Omaha
Nice work!!! It is really nice to hear that zorinsky has given up a few nice fish lately. I was getting kinda worried that all the bass disappeared in that lake. Nice fish RW!

what kind of boat should i get?
www.craigslist.com you should be able to find one there in your local area in in no time. Also check your local news papers classified ads. ebaymotors.com might find something there but it probably won't be in your area.

Newish to Fishing....Need some advice
I have been going to our Bass Pro Shops many times since it opened about 2-3 years ago and I have never been on the second level (hunting section) of that store.

what kind of boat should i get?
Yes, with your budget you should be able to find a good sized used one and have plenty of money left over to pimp it out with all the goodies, i.e. electronics, seats, paint, floors, etc. And as always with any boat the wider the better, especially with a jon boat.

pflueger echelon
Do NOT buy an echelon. I did and it was a huge mistake. IMO they are one of the worst reels on the market (any price range) By the way if you really want one, PM me I will sell you mine. ;D

Running gas out of engine
I've got a '83 50hp Merc and I never run it out after each use and I have have zero problems with it. I use it about once every two weeks, but sometimes it can sit for a month without use. Then in the winter I put some Sta-bil in the gas and run it a little, then come spring she starts right up.

I'm now on a Safari!!!
Well not exactly. I'm not hunting any animals, or even in Africa for that matter. I just downloaded Apple's new PC friendly web browser, "Safari". I have been using Internet explorer 7 and Firefox lately and I have been really disappointed with both of them. But now i'm using Apple's Safari and it is awesome! If you are fed-up with IE7, you have to try Safari. Just thought i'd let everyone know that us "PC's" can now have a decent web browser.

Fantastic Summer Job
Cool job DD, I worked in the lodge at Dicks Sporting Goods last fall, and yes the pro deal for the St. Criox rods is awesome. Avids for $80 ain't bad . With the gun sales, don't sweat it. You will get the hang of it. It just takes practice, and remember to not rush through 'em (that when I screwed up on 'em). In a couple of weeks you will have the FFL# memorized. (I still do and I haven't worked there for over 6 months). When I was working there I even got to meet Ed Stack (CEO of Dick's, aka "Dick's" brother) which was really cool. Really nice guy and easy to talk to. Also don't forget to keep an eye out for clearance items. They run half off clearance fishing items once in a while and since your working there you get "first dibs" on it. One time I scored two really nice leathermans for $3 each. Congrats on the new job and good luck with it.

I need a job.

who golfs around here?
I started playing golf when I was about 7 years old and played about 3-5 times per week through high school. I played in tournaments over the summers and played in on the team in high school. Now I'm a senior in college and played probably have played only about 10 times in the last three years (Really started fishing a lot more). I think that I just got burned out with golf. I'm not one who like half-@$$ a sport. If i'm going to play it, I want to put the time in and play it well. I don't like to play 4 times a year and shoot 90 everytime. The thing that I miss with golf is playing tournaments. (Not the one's at your local muni were you play "best ball") but rather a non hanicaped stroke play, player with the lowest score, wins. I loved to play competitive golf. And yes, golf can get VERY expensive
