Anybody have any good/bad to say about it? Being sick on the couch gets boring so I start buying stuff. With the recent billing/system upgrade debacle at US cellular they gave us 10,000 free belief points. Coincidentally, that's what the iphone5 costs so it's on its way to me for free.

Spro Bronzeye or Spro Popping Frog. Toss up between the two. Both produced very well for me.

Oh and then there's that philly vs NO game tonight..but who really cares about that game. The more I think about it, the more I can really see philly pulling this off tonight. Would love to see Indy vs Den next week too.

ugh. It's supposed to be a high of -13 this coming monday through tuesday morning /w lows around -25. windchills can be as severe as -50/-60. I can't remember ever having -10 be the norm in the morning here.

have the guide replaced asap. A guide w/o an insert will fray and destroy your line. guide replacements don't cost more than 10$.

For that specific jig I use an alabama craw colored subwoofer or the amber colored rage craw if the waters a little dirty.

The 743 is THE senko rod in the lineup. I use it for just that

1/4oz Brovarney swim jig in Blue Crab has been my favorite for years.

I hate the no stretch.

You can never have enough jigs on hand but you can have too many colors to psyche yourself out in selection. keep it simple. that weather is fine for learning jigs. especially football jigs.

I fish the same kind of small streams as you intend to. I use a 6'6ul /w a 1000 size reel. 500 size is fine too. i've used 4# mono for years w/o any issues and never really felt the need to switch.

From what I've read, the KLX series is a fantastic rod for its price range. the reason for the 1 year warranty (and I admit I don't like it) is because a rod, if it were to have many manufacturer defects, will show up within the first year. As for the customer service, i've never dealt with them.

3/8-1/2oz brush jig. i prefer 1/2, some like 3/8 for that depth. blue craw is my favorite.

you can pay something like 15$ (maybe 19) for the whole season. it's on the outdoor channel on i think thurs/friday nights for 1 hour. the extended versions are i think 3 hours.

that's my point....RBs aren't a dime a dozen. the quality falls off a lot after you get past the top tier. you have to get those top O line men in the first rounds if your team is falling short /w the run because of the lack of talent that hasn't come out in the past few years. Even after that you're still hoping a committee can carry you. The league is for sure a passing league now. You can't lean on the run like you could. There's only a couple teams that can really lean on their RB to carry them.

fox sunday was really hyping up your SNF game tonight. They even went as far as saying DAL may play better w/o romo. lots of hype around this game. i agree with the week 17 divisional games. By the early looks of it, PIT may even get in now.

If any of that made any sense, talent like Leveon bell and eddie lacy would be the standard.... It isn't less important by any means. There's just a huge gap between your top tier backs and everybody else. There really isn't a middle ground right now where a Deangelo Williams type can get you through being a 3 down back. You either have the talent on your team or your stuck at a RB by committee.
