The DSG by me are hit or miss depending on which one you go to. The one in Orange Park said that something happened in Atlanta, maybe that's where their main warehouse is idk, and as soon as that gets sorted out they will have more rods, reels, lures, etc.

Nice fish! Me and my buddies have been catching some HAWGS during the prespawn, some spots have spawned already. Haven't really tried creature baits so far this spawn outside of lizards and craws.

Yea man me too I was carrying my half of the boat when I got that pic lol, me and dsidle were shocked. Me and bass czar went with Dave on Sunday to the scene of the crime but we didn't have any luck at that spot caught a few at other ponds though.

I wasn't with him when he caught the bass, I was there for the carp though. He was fishing for catfish with his little boys and wife and threw on a crank and caught that beast 2 feet off shore. His old PB was 13 and some change and he said this one was definitely in the 14+ range. He said he's got an ancient spring scale that he has in his kids tackle box and that thing maxes out at 14, when he put the fish on it bottomed the scale out (I was like what kind of scale only goes to 14lb must be old as hell and definitely not made by a company that is located where big fish reside lol). Too bad for him because if he had a proper scale that beast would have qualified him for the Florida Trophy Catch Program in the Hall of Fame Club (13lb+ fish). That was on Saturday and he took me there on Sunday and when he hooked the carp he thought he had that bass' mother lol until he got a look at the carp close to shore. Didn't weigh the carp we should have because I have my scale, not no ancient 14lb max junk mine goes to 50 lol, after he let it go I was like man we should have weighed that I'm curious to see how big it was. Heading back out there next weekend trying to get that bass again.

I picked up an Abu Garcia Vertias paired with a Quatum Smoke spinning reel for 120 on craigslist!! What a deal I have the same smoke spinning reel, mines a 25 and this is a 30, and the reel alone costs $160. Got to love Craig's list when I talked to the guy, after I had the rod and reel in my possession of course (even gave me the box and receipt showing he paid $260 for everything), he said he is a salt water guy an his ex girlfriend got him this combo so that's why he was getting rid of it. I laughed and told him of he has any other fishing things that his ex or any future exs get him shoot me a text lol

To me largemouth anything over 6-7 and I can't speak on smallmouth because I have never caught one. But it's all about the memory not necessarily how big the fish is. I wanted to mount this 7.7 largemouth that I caught she was a beauty! I caught a smaller fish maybe around 3-4 on a pop'r and it shook the hook on a jump and the second my pop'r hit the water my 7.7 beauty inhaled it. But I let her go, this was before I knew about how good some people are at making replicas. The memory of how I caught her will still stay with me forever, I guess that's what a mount is for too though lol

I saw them on clearance at my local Academy store. I picked up a couple not really a spinner bait guy but the place I am going this weekend that's the go to bait I keep hearing

I eat my bass by slobbering over my pics on my phone wondering how big she will get and if we will ever meet again. I don't eat my fish I let them go but if someone is cooking bass I'll try it if it looks good

I wish that my local stores would carry more Rage Tail baits, more variety seems like they all carry the same few types and same colors.

Few days ago I caught a warmouth in a spot that I only pulled largemouth out of and I have seen bluegill and some baitfish. The warmouth was pretty big I have only seen one other in my life that my buddy from Orange Park caught. I caught it on a black w/ blue flake 6" senko. I didn't know what it was at first and then googled it after it fell off the hook and back into the water. Had some amazing colors to it

Always be prepared with a scale you never know and don't want to leave it to a guesstimate (happened to me twice where I caught a giant and didn't have my scale 2nd time was last Friday night at around 11:40p) fish always seem bigger when they aren't on a scale and always seem bigger when they are on it too lol

I ordered the River 2 Sea Cranky M in red tiger craw, have you ever used these ones before? I believe they got 0-6ft

My Walmarts close to me seem to never have anything good let alone amything good on sale

This weekend I am not going to get any sleep. My girl and son are going away for the weekend so its all weekend fishing trip! Friday afternoon doing some bank fishing then at night taking the boat out with my buddy at one of our hot spots. Saturday morning taking the boat out to a new spot. Then heading out to Lake Santa Fe for some all day fishing. Rest for a few hours when we get back around 7-8ish. Then going to hit my golf course ponds in the boat at night. Then Sunday morning go out again to one of our hot spots, his wife comes back early afternoon... so I will be hitting the bank then and wait for my girl and son to come back Sunday night! Gonna be a long weekend lol
